Toby’s Christmas Trees

This is our second year buying a tree from Toby’s. We usually take time to decide on a tree and I appreciate how we’re not rushed but there’s always someone there to offer help and answer our questions. Kenny was also really helpful when we couldn’t decide between trees, he went ahead and put them side by side to allow us to better compare our choices.
Last year we had it delivered and this year we took it with us and both experiences were great.

Toby’s really does have the best Christmas trees! Everyone there is so helpful! When we walked in, we were instantly helped by Kenny who was so nice and explained where each tree size was located and the type of trees they had. Very helpful! Everyone was so pleasant and really made it fun to shop for the «perfect tree». I would definitely recommend getting your tree here! This is our second year and we’ll for sure be going back next year!

These guys are the absolute best and my family had one of the best experiences today picking out a tree. We we shown around by the owner, Toby, who showed us several different types of trees, explained their origins, differences in look, smell, feel, etc. He was friendly, chatting to us about Oregon, where my husband is from, the Pittsburgh Steelers (again, hubby is a fan) and pulling out trees that fit what we were looking for. We really had a wonderful time and felt special to have the place to ourselves– they were still setting up, but let us know that if the trees weren’t jumping out to us, that they’d happily pull more out to show us. He opened a beauty for us, straight from the Oregon coast, and we were sold. We made sure to grab some poinsettias and tree care on our way out (check out their garlands and wreaths. If we had a bigger place, I would’ve grabbed those as well!).
Professional, friendly, gorgeous trees that are a reasonable price and family owned! Thank you Toby, for a beautiful tree and a wonderful start to the Christmas season– you’ve made a customer for life!

They were friendly and helpful. Loaded the tree how I wanted and they even asked me if I was ok with the price. I thought that was nice, but I just gave them what they’d asked for it. Great place to get a tree and they had a solid variety. A definite recommendation

We too are new to the area. Having moved from WA, finding a good tree was key for our family. Short of driving around, looking for a lot, and hoping for the best, we were happy to have found Toby’s on Unilocal.The staff was very friendly. They had a huge assortment of trees, and all were really nicely shaped and displayed. The prices were competitive with the store-​based trees (ie: Home Depot, etc), and I think these were very fresh.
We were able to find a fabulous smelling tree for $ 45 (bring cash or your checkbook). They can mount it on a stand for you if you like (added $$), and the friendly staff member carried it out to our truck for us. He also gave us the branches we trimmed from the bottom to add to our holiday smell throughout the house.
Parking was easy, and we are happily hoping to be back next year!

We purchased a tree at Toby’s tonight. I really enjoyed the experience. We recently moved to Walnut Creek and the owner spoke to us and told us they had been there for 35+ years which I thought was great. The staff were really friendly and the owner was very knowledgeable about the different kinds of trees. There is a ton of parking inside of Heather Farms where they are located. They also helped us load the tree inside of our small Jetta. Prices are reasonable and they offer different varieties of tress. We purchased a 7 foot Frasier fir for $ 50ish dollars. I would definitely buy a tree from Toby’s again.
