This church is welcoming and fun for my kids and I. There is great energy for kids, they talk about what they are thankful for at circle time and feel special and unique. They have an open room where they play with a small playground outside too. I enjoy their bookshop and most if all that everyone is welcomed and God loves us all. I’m christian but spiritual and dont like it when hate and judgement is taught, that doesn’t happen here. Thanks Unity.

I love Unity. I love the spiritual teachings, the people, and the fun. I love that it is inclusive and speaks to the inner spiritual journey, finding your own answers, and knowing your oneness with all beings. And we do have a lot of fun!

MDLPA’S GOTTALENT The Mt. Diablo Legal Professional’s Association held a talent show at Unity. I volunteered to be the emcee so that I wouldn’t get strongarmed into the ‘talent’ part of the show. One of our members frequents Unity and arranged the room for us. There was a kitchen area in the back and a large dining area. Plus, a piano! Another of our members played a couple classical pieces for us! Talk about talent. We also had a poet and a couple beautiful interpretive dances. A station with speakers and a microphone was availble for our use and very easy to use. The hard part was remembering to turn the mic off during performances to eliminate feedback, and back on when it was time to emcee again. A couple glasses of wine were served with the potluck dinner. The liquid grapes helped get the audience laughing at my silly puns and jokes. We had buffet tables set up(provided by Unity) and round dinner tables for all of the guests. All we had to do was decorate them ourselves, and clean up before leaving. The evening was a success and I even threw in a rap to wrap up my work at the end of the night.
