Second Glance

I had something extraordinary happen at Second Glance. I had dropped off a pile of clothes to be consigned but didn’t feel the need to stay and watch things get sorted. While the owner Diane was sorting through the items to tag and hang in her store she came across an envelope of cash that my husband had left in his pocket. The amount was quite quite large. Diane called me immediately to let me know there was money left in a pocket and that she would hold it in a safe place till i came to claim it. I knew the amount that was left in the pocket and when i drove down to claim the money everything was there. I could not thank her enough!!! I have shopped at Second Glance many times prior to this experience and i’ve always found Diane to be friendly, helpful and the clothing is always plentiful and so well organized but this experience was over the top!!!

i have sold, as well as bought things here and the owner, Diane, is wonderful to work with and chat with. i’m always surprised that she remembers my name even though i’m only in a couple of times a year (i live about a half hour away otherwise i’d be there more frequently). she only accepts items in good condition so you don’ t have to sort through a bunch of junk to find your treasure. check it out!

Since finding this store a few months ago, I compare all other consignment stores to Second Glance. This store is one of a kind! It is truly a hidden gem! Many things make this store as awesome as it is, but most outstanding is (obviously) the merchandise — the owner obviously has an excellent eye. Items are interesting, fashionable, functional and clean. It’s obvious the owner loves what she does and takes pride in her store. Without hesitation, I would say Second Glance is my favorite consignment store in the greater Boston area!
