Pizza and coffee & ice cream are my food groups. I’ve ordered from many pizza places in the metro west Boston area and I wish it hadn’t taken 20 years to find what I think is the best pizza around. What I like the most about their pizza is the generous toppings. With many pizza places, when you get a pie, the toppings are all flat and swimming in the cheese. At Angelo’s the cheese is being help up by all the toppings. It’s a really good value. If you order online, use the Unilocal’s EAT24 cause if you use Grubhub you can’t customize your pizza. I usually start with a large cheese pizza and add my favorites. Delivery is fast and friendly. So if you are still searching for the perfect Pie, give Angelo’s a try.

The older man was patient and very nice i cant say much for the woman who took my order. She was pushy and caty i felt rushed. The pasta is amazing however.

I ordered jalapeño poppers and cheese steak sub for home delivery. Both the dishes tasted very bad. The meat was not well cooked and and had a weird smell. The poppers also was very bad in taste. I would never ever try this place the second time. I strongly recommend not to try this place out.

Always fast. Always delicious. Great prices, great portion sizes, friendly polite staff. I’ve been coming here for YEARS. I recommend the calzones; delicious, crusty, soft, huge, cheesey, amazing beasts.

Was recommended Angelo’s by my grandfather, who used to come here as a kid. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is roomy and has seven booths for seating. The pizza is great, especially the crunchy crust. I loved the cheese pizza best. The veggie pizza was covered in veggies, which I usually like, except it seemed to have extra onion(which I’m not a fan of). Can’t go wrong with plain ol’ cheese or pepperoni. I liked the friendly neighborhood feel of this restaurant, and the fact that it has remained the same for years and years.

Pretty much my go to pizza place in Waltham. I order from here on a pretty frequent basis and they never have disappointed me since I first started 3 years ago. Plus the chicken wings are heaven. The pizza is a bit greasy but its still tasty and they always have the food ready for pick up in less than 15 minutes.

they use way too much grease, like how much do they pay the health inspector? the crust was poor and sauce worse, it took 45 minutes to get delivered, the staff was decently friendly

I ordered delivery from them this evening and the experience was horrible. The pizza and onion rings were cold on arrival, the chicken and feta salad was a a very plain chicken dish with more green peppers than lettuce and no feta, and to top it all off, they completely forgot the buffalo chicken fingers all together. I called to try to address the issues with the restaurant and I was immediately told to hold as she answer the phone so she could finish telling her friend the story she was in the middle of(yes I heard the whole thing, she never even put me on hold). Neither her or the manager were able to help me because they didn’t have the slip… the driver did. So their solution was to ask me to call them back when the driver gets back to the restaurant… not sure how I would know when that actually would be… I’ve taken it as a learning experience I will never order anything from them again.

I have been coming to this Angelos Pizza since 1995. The first owners were very nice, and the 2nd owners are awsome as well. Their pizza is fresh, the chicken wings are so crunchy and juicy that is a must try. To me is the best pizza in town.

Best Burgers in Town! I love the bacon cheeseburgers from Angelo’s so much that I felt compelled to write a review about them. I’ve eaten burgers at many places in my life, but I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed one as much as I do the ones that I’ve gotten here. They put two tasty, thin patties in a nicely toasted bulky roll and always cook the bacon they use to perfection. There is another new«burger joint» in town who is supposed to specialize in hamburgers(I won’t mention their name, but those who are from the area probably know who I am referring to) and not even their burgers come close to the ones at Angelo’s. I also love their pizzas. They taste great and they’re always generous with the toppings. I would say that they have some of the best pizza in town too. I used to get their deal #4 which was two medium one topping pizzas at a great price. Unfortunately, they recently raised the price of this deal so I don’t get it as often as I used to. I noticed another review on here where someone also mentioned the recent increase in «deal» prices. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one disappointed by this, but their pizza is still great. My only complaint is with their french fries. I usually order delivery, and by the time my order gets to me, the fries are no longer hot and have begun to get soggy. I wish they would find a better way to pack their fries for delivery to prevent this from happening. Overall though, I’m pretty happy with their food. P. S. Try their burgers — you won’t regret it!

The best Greek-style pizza in Waltham, as far as we’ve tried. Really good sauce is key, and Angelo’s is one of the best. We don’t try for their«deals» ever, so that’s not been an issue for us. Just a solid choice any time we want this style of pizza, and they make it FAST.

First of all, let me say I love this place for«eat in» or «take out». I have been going here for pizza and subs since I was a kid, I am 48 now… So a pretty long damn time. I recently saw that they do «delivery» now… So… I am at work, call for them to deliver a small pizza and small fries… I work in a supermarket6, so I tell the girl to have the driver bring it to the courtesy booth… OK simple enough… 30 – 40 minutes go by, I get a call from the rest. telling me the delivery guy is OUTSIDE looking for me… WTF! I tell her what I said about delivering… tell her to call him back and have him come INSIDE the business that ordered! Finally 15 minuites later he comes in… FOODICECOLD! Throw out! Now, on to tonight… I let what happened in the past go, maybe the guy was new… who knows. I try again. WHAT A MISTAKE! Call at 6pm, again tell the guy have it delivered to the service desk in the store… 7pm comes… thye guy, who can’t speak English, keeps calling the store yelling about, «DELIVERY, DELIVERY»… then hangs up. Finally this moron comes in the store and throws the food down and leaves. How’s the food? ICECOLD! THROWNOUTAGAIN!!! DONOTGETDELIVERY!!! Go during the day when the owner’s there and take the food home or eat there… Good subs, awesome pizza… TERRIBLEDELIVERYSERVICE!!! I would call and complain, but the girl who works there at night is an ass… Maybe go by tomorrow… Anyway, take it as you wish!

There are plenty of places to buy pizza on Moody Street but Angelo’s House of Pizza has been in town a long time. According to their website they have a «coupon special» every Monday and Tuesday night for a $ 5.65 large cheese pizza if you pick it up. So, we call in our order and we mentioned the coupon at the time we placed the order as they indicated we needed to do according to THEIR website. When we picked up the pizzas we were told they coupons were«old» and they haven’t changed them yet so we ended up paying more than planned. It may seem like a small thing but when a small business owner fails to even care about the details of their own website, how do they pay attention to quality of their products? Aside from the«web mishap», I’ll give it to them. The pizzas weren’t bad. The crust is flavorful, not too thick except around the edge. The quality of the cheese is better than most for low priced pizza. It wasn’t oily and melted well on the pie. The down side is their sauce — way too much sugar for my liking and not enough flavor. The crust and cheese wash out the tomato flavor but not the sugary taste. If you’re looking for a cheap pizza and aren’t fussy, Angelo’s House of Pizza may be OK for you. There are other eateries all along Moody Street which do better. Postscript: A slice of Angelo’s Pizza in a toaster oven the day after isn’t too bad.

I’ve never actually eaten inside, but the pizza that I’ve gotten here is always pretty darn tasty. I am usually not a plain cheese ‘za kinda gal – I think that’s kind of boring, to be quite frank – but here, that’s all I want to eat! The tomato sauce is tangy and zesty and flavourful enough for the entire pie, no toppings needed! That’s a rarity… especially for someone like me who wants everything on everything. The prices are reasonable, and there’s parking on the street if you can find it. It’s definitely one of my go-to places for quick and easy pickup. All in all, a solid pizza joint. I’ll be sure to grab a cheese, please!

Their calzones are the best! Absolutely phenomenal and for only 6 – 7 bucks. Crunchy, chewy, doughy, cooked to perfection. I can’t rave enough and I just tried them on a whim since I live around the corner. Also their deals on Mondays and Tuesdays for a large pizza for $ 5.85 is tough to beat, not like this is crappy Domino’s pizza. I have to give them a thumb’s up, their food is always ready super fast too. Try them out!

I’ve gone to this place a few times and they make an ok pizza. Coming from a guy who’s been in the restaurant(pizza business) it’s not bad and fairly priced. However, everyone’s attitude in there needs to change and change quick! A very unfriendly staff even after you give them the benefit of the doubt and smile more or even give a few extra thank yous. NOTHING! Come on guys, step it up a little huh? The second someone walks in the door they expect to be greeted, not asked if they want to be helped or are the all set, that’s not how it works…

I have decided to upgrade my rating of this place from 3 to a 4 stars, because I’ve gotten consistently better pizza from them. I think that most of the people here know how to make very good pizza, but occasionally one of their workers is either rushed or does not know what he is doing. In any case, there seems to be an improvement in quality control. Very tasty pizza, with a nice, crispy crust, at a a reasonable price, especially if you catch a special, which they offer every week. Check out their website for their specials.

I used to order cold subs and salads from here for many years with great satisfaction. It’s been about 6 months, until I ordered an Italian sub and Greek salad from there today. The Italian sub had 5 slices of bolagne, american cheese and a green pepper on stale bread. Nothing else! The Greek salad had 2 olives, 1 piece of tomato, 2 pieces of pepper, wilted lettuce and a huge amount of feta cheese covering it all. I’ll never give my money to this place again. It’s a shame they let their business fail so badly. There’s many other great sub shops in Waltham.
