Hilton Garden Inn Boston/Waltham

This is a review on the restaurant only. Met up with friends for breakfast at this Hilton Garden Inn on Totten Road Waltham. They offered a $ 16 breakfast buffet… we all thought it must be good for $ 16. Thought we would give it a try. We ordered our omelets by filling out an order form. My omelet came with broccoli that I never asked for. When I asked for a new omelet the waitress tried to prove me wrong by retrieving my slip from the trash barrel – I was right I never checked off broccoli. Then we had asked for fresh berries with our pancakes and were told by this same waitress the fruit was at the buffet – only thing they offered at the buffet was melon. Had to question the waitress once again about the «fresh berries” – her response «oh, we have blackberries». Everything was a challenge and for $ 16 DEFINITELY not worth it.

This is a decent place to stay for business in the 128 beltway. A notch higher than a Holiday Inn/​Hampton but is starting to show some wear and tear. Full restaurant, function rooms, beds are very comfortable but lean to plush rather than firm. Good size work area, wifi, micro and mini fridge, coffee maker are nice amenities, although standard these days. Very friendly and efficient staff and locations is very convenient to 128 and downtown Waltham.
