I bought my first firearm from L.E.E. about a year ago. I walked in fairly close to their closing time but Walter had no reservations about helping me. He was very quick to share his knowledge and even gave me a bit of a history lesson as well. His shop is how ALL gun shops should be run. Most encounters I have had at other shops have been abysmal. He doesn’t have a very large inventory but if he doesn’t have something in stock, he is happy to order it for you. Prices are somewhat higher than a lot of the bigger shops but the level of service you receive when going there is absolutely worth it. I will continue to do business with L.E.E. so long as they are in business. If I could give six stars, I would.

I have been going into L.E.E. since I was 16 I am definitely a customer for life. It’s the type of place that anyone can go into and get an honest answer. They always treat you like a king and have everything you need. IF they don’t have it or can’t get it for you they’ll tell you where to go. Go here before you go anywhere else. They are the most Knowledgeable staff in the state hands down.

When I first received my firearms ID, I had no idea where I would even be able to get a hold of pepper spray/mace. So, I asked my issuing officer where I would be able to purchase it and which ones would be best. The officer(who’s name will not be revealed) suggested that I go to this local firearms store since they(the Waltham Police) gets all their equipment here. He suggested that I get a can of MK-3(DefTeck — which BTW is police mace) and showed me this lil bottle that he carries on his belt. Knowing this, I went to the local firearms store and was quickly introduced to the owner. A very friendly and knowledgeable gent, he helped me with figuring out what would work best for me. He showed me all the different kinds of MACE/pepper spray there are, and how you can buy them. I also told him about my situation and what I’m looking for. Although, he didn’t really have exactly what I was looking for, he was able to find something that would work similar to what I’m describing. Walking out, after spending about $ 80, I was heavily armored with an insurmountable supply of mace, ranging from the keychain, a can of MK-3, to the stick that can be doubled as a weapon that can break someone’s jaw if necessary. Though a small shop, it can actually be quite overwhelming with the amount of stuff that can be packed in here. I also can not tell you how many Waltham cops I always see here whenever I come in. I also know that all my Bentley cop friends also frequent this location to get their gear. The fact that the Waltham and Bentley police patron this location comforts me in that I know that I purchased my pepper spray/mace from a reputable distributor. NOTE: They are only open during certain hours and on certain days of the week. So, make sure you check the hours of operation before you make the trek down here and realize that they aren’t open, which I have done a number of times.
