Friendly cashier when I tried the very tasty cheese pizza… so I returned because of his courtesy to try the Alfredo with broccoli… definitely good! Pasta was cooked al dente! Sauce didnt taste store bought at all. Decent prices. not cheap but not too expensive. I think they have some lunch deals for the 14 inch subs that I’ll try. Not many vegetarian options for veggie veterans like myself, but you can get creative.

My boyfriend and I go here all the time for salads and wraps. They make a really good steak tip Caesar wrap and salad. We also go for the Greek chicken occasionally too, and neither disappoint! Have yet to try the pizza though, so I can’t speak to that.

Awesome food, great service, speedy delivery! Their pizza is fresh and calzones are amazing — their wraps and salads are awesome, too! Keep up the good work, NY Pie!

I’m from New York and have eaten the best pizza money can buy. You really can’t find a bad slice in Brooklyn. New York Pizza is very very good in comparison. Thin crust, well done and fresh ingredients. May not be New York, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

I was introduced to NY Pie by a friend. He ordered some spicy fries and it took me back to Philadelphia when I had Chickie and Petes Crabfries. If you are from the Philly/NJ area and craving some Crabfries you have found your spot. The pizza and subs we ordered were awesome as well!

I have been ordering consistently from NY pie for a while now. Every time I order from another pizza shop I am disappointed… NY pie really set the bar higher and in my experience other pizza and sub shops really can’t compete. First off, their subs are huge! The bread is always fresh, the veggies always crisp and also obviously fresh and the meat is high quality and abundant! They really make a hell of a sandwich! Their Brooklyn’s finest, roast beef, chicken salad, blts and steak and cheese are my go to favorites. Their pizza is also super super yummy!!! Never gross and greasy. I am now on a pasta kick. The chicken Alfredo is(as expected) delicious! Ohhh. And their deserts!!! The Hershey pie and the Oreo pie as well as the carrot cake are all scrumptious! I highly recommend NY pie, you will not be disappointed.

I have been going to NY Pie Since it has been open. The food is incredible! The New York Style pizza is mouth watering and there is plenty of styles to choose from for those who have more eclectic tastes. Everything is made fresh with the best ingredients and is always ready when I get there for pick up. Dante who is the owner takes pride in making sure all of his customers have the best experience when they enter the establishment. My suggestion to you all is that if you have not had a chance to get in, meet Dante and enjoy the incredible food that is served at NY Pie, do it now! You will not regret it!

I don’t know how many chances I can give this place. They’ve repeatedly forgot items after deliverys, even after the manager told me to place the order with him on the phone. They have messed up my order for pick up, many times. There’s been extremely rude employees that rush off the phone, and my orders are straight to the point, no reason for that. You’re paying gourmet prices for mediocre food. 13 $ for a burger, coleslaw, and soggy fries… I’d expect a lot more quality for that price.

There are plenty of pizza shops in town, but NY Pie does the whole pizza shop a little differently. Try the super food slaw, it’s awesome!

Just one more mediocre pizza joint in Waltham. Boring pizza and laughably overpriced and underwhelming sides. They’ve burned me too many times now… Two stars(instead of one) because they carry Coke products instead of Pepsi.

Funny how I just went to review this place and what do you know!!! The girl who lives above me reviewed it as well! I have not really ordered pizza from here but the STEAKTIPCEASARSALAD is DABOMB!!! omg obsessed. Ive also had a few of the subs. Most recently the Crag Rangoon wrap… not my FAVORITE but it was def different and well made. They have a wide array of things. This is my go to spot for take out. Like Meaghan said, the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I will be ordering from them for a while. Oh and the staff is super friendlly! The delivery guy is a sweet heart! Good Find!

Eggplant and pepperoni pizza were good. Curly fries need a little more flavor. Companion liked steak tips, spicy fries, and salad.

After recently moving to the neighborhood I began my quest for the perfect pizza spot. Didn’t take long — NY Pie was the second place I tried and it’s friggin delicious. Pizza has that thin, bubbly crust, ingredients taste very fresh and it’s perfectly cooked. Salads are fresh too(strangely uncommon) — I suggest the Greek, which is absolutely loaded with feta. The inside is bustling, busy, clean and LOUD — music blasting even at 5:30pm on a Monday. I probably wouldn’t eat inside for that reason, although there are a couple tables and they serve slices. Delivery is also fast and friendly.

This pizza is as good as anything you’ll find in Boston’s North End. Delicious, Italian-style pie that is giant! Much bigger than anyone around. Well worth the trip,(or delivery).

Recently we were filming a student project nearby and NY Pie generously donated food for our entire crew including dietary restrictions. As the person in charge of food for the entire 12 day shoot, this was the most popular meal. He made us Reuben sandwiches, a large salad and a tray of jalapeño poppers. He even threw in a foot long BLT that someone never picked up. Delicious food, generous people — I’m so glad we know about this gem now!

All of a sudden my delicious spinach, feta, and tomato calzones started to get really THIN, and SOGGY. As if they’re taking a few pieces of frozen spinach, and putting it right into the calzone to bake, rather than thawing it and squeezing out the water first. I’ll probably give them one more chance, but if the calzone continues to be thin(around a ½ inch in the middle, when they used to be a lot thicker and crispy on the outside) and worst of all, soggy on the bottom, I’ll have to search around for a tasty spinach and feta calzone elsewhere!(anyone got a good suggestion?)

Not good pizza. The topping and cheese were all ok and the fold factor was there with big NY style slices, but the crust was cardboard dry. Second time ordering from here to give it a fair evaluation but they did not impress. Delivery took 1 ½ hours on a Thursday night at 6:30 and when it got here the food was barely room temperature. They chicken fingers were ok but again they were not hot at all. Only reason we got pizza here was because they deliver, but in hind sight Franco’s or Pinni’s would have been a way better choice.

Located in the quieter segment of an otherwise fairly busy Moody Street is NY Pie. The small restaurant offers up some pizzas, subs and various other items in a casual setting and is located directly across the local skate park. It has a private lot with a few spots and they strive to make fresh food with good ingredients. Fast forward nearly a half a dozen visits and it’s been a good experience overall. I’ve only done pickup since I live within a stone’s throw away, and while the pizza isn’t the best in Waltham, it’s decent and their subs are top notch. The bread they use is incredible. It’s crunchy and soft and works very well with just about any type of sub I’ve had there, from buffalo chicken subs to eggplant parm. It’s large enough to be filling and the ingredients they use are great. It also feels a bit less greasy than Carl’s which is less than a mile away but is more expensive with subs averaging $ 8 – 9 which is a bit steep and at least a dollar more than most places. Not a huge deal but definitely something to keep in mind. That aside, the place does have some seating although it’s fairly limited. No tables either, just a counter with a few stools. Service is very friendly and there’s in the midst of considering having gluten-free dough for pizzas in the near future, something that I hope they do.
