desperate for a quick haircut and walked in here… the «junior» person did not listen to a word I said… she was horrible. when she stopped for a minute I reminded her of what we discussed. she responded, «that’s how I was trained to do it.» i should have know as she was faux cutting… barely snipping and kept combing and combing, angling, little snip, comb comb. my whole head is uneven. horrible horrible horrible

Called about 10 mins before I headed over — they took my name. I showed-​up and two women were working. They both greeted me with a smile.
The place is clean with personal TVs. The price is very reasonable. It seems to be mostly Waltham office park workers looking for a quick haricut.
My haircut came out exceptional. I got a rinse after, so I could go back to work without feeling itchy. They also allowed me to style my hair.
Easy, quick, affordable, and geared toward business professionals.

Erika in the Stylecuts Natick location is the best with boys’ haircuts! My son has difficult hair, and she cut it into a style that is both easy to care for and cool for an eleven year old boy. We’ve tried for years to find someone who could cut his hair successfully, and now we won’t go anywhere else. At $ 16.95, it’s a great deal, too! Thanks for helping us conquer the cowlicks!

This is the 3^rd visit with rude service and I walked out. NO CUSTOMERS WAITING — «You can sit and I’ll be with you shortly» — what am I a dog. She then spent several minutes working at the computer terminal, and then got up and proceeded to tidy up the shop not even making eye contact. I mean you can NOT beat this for 19.95 for wash and cut. Shana did a great job and was fast and thorough and listened to exactly what I wanted. She also offered tons of tips on how to style curly hair and didn’t try to sell me $ 60 products. Would def go back!

After scheduling two appointments at the same time for my niece and I Upon arrival I was told my «consultant» was running behind and so was my nieces. After waiting for over a half hour they finally took my niece while I was still waiting. After over am hour I was told that the person taking care of my nieces color would take care of my hair. She then decided that my treatment would take too long to be done along with my nieces. Over two hours now we are still waiting for my nieces color to take and I am not getting my treatment. Do not give th any business I certainly won’t be back

Flew in Boston for work. And guess what, the TSA took my hair conditioner. Had a quarter size of emergency conditioner & used hotel’s. Well after attempting to blow dry it, split ends & breakage –ville just didn’t help the awful version of Shakira-​do. Shops were closed already. The next morning, ponytail all day at the office. Bad. Hair. Day.
On way back from office, I saw this place. So I walked in & didn’t have appointment. Please do something with my hair, I begged. Then a nice guy named Mark took the time to explain to me the different products that would help revive my hair. He was genuinely kind in educating me the process. I feel better that there’s hope.
Jenn did the Keratin treatment on my hair, wash & styled my hair. She did a fantastic job. She was pleasant the entire time, encouraging me on avoiding getting highlights until the hair is back to healthy again.
When it was done, I smiled huge! And Mark even gave me a travel size strengthening shampoo. My goodness! Are all Bostonians this nice?
Great service and the price is so affordable! I may have to come here just to get my hair done when I’m back in town …

I wasn’t expecting a styled haircut when I came in for an emergency hair cut with no appointment. I just needed my mane cut off and was too unsure about how to do it myself. I told the girl (dark, wavy hair, short, pretty), whose name I forget but am such a fan now, that I needed it shortened and layered if possible. She calmly went through what she would do and she did that and more! My hair came out beautifully cut and styled and I was really happy with her work. Asian hair does not lend itself to hair cutting mistakes and she did an amazing job making all the layers, and angles and side bangs look perfect. She was friendly, but not too in my business and really made me feel comfortable and confident about being in her hands. Even more I was out in about 20 min!
I spent $ 20 for a wash and cut and it was the best hair deal I’ve ever got. Of course a blow dry would cost more but I didn’t need one.

Good price, good haircut. Fine by me! I usually schedule an appointment, just so I don’t have to wait. I did the Keratin Express treatment once, don’t think it really did much, but for a simple haircut (nothing fancy), this is definitely a good place to go (and watch tv at the same time!).

I personally like this place for the price with a $ 2 coupon, it is 12.95 for a good haircut. Michelle, I guess, did my hair twice and rocked both times. I would go there without a doubt.
For the person with wet hair comments and who gave it a 1 star, could you possible ask for a towel and dry your hair which is less damaging than the hot air from the dryer. Yes, I have been to a better barbershop, but still I prefer this place for the price.

First off, I get a basic finger length on top, 1 – 2 clippers on the side cut. Pretty basic haircut, but trust me it’s not impossible to mess up. Saying that Stylecuts has never butchered my mane. I simply tell the stylist what I want and get exactly what I asked for. There are TVs at each chair, I typically catch the news. All the stylists have been very friendly to me. I typically have little to no wait when I arrive. I prefer Stylecuts over any other shop in Waltham.

After my barber closed up in 2007 in Waltham I had to find a new place. I prefer an actual Barber shop, however I really needed a hair cut and went to Stylecuts.
Overall, this place really depends on who you have cutting your hair. Kristine is the best, she’s friendly, once you get her talking. However I have had a few new girls who act like they just got out of beauty school. Far from practiced, but my hair cut is generally pretty easy, at least I would think so when it’s a military hair cut (modified high and tight aka not so high but yes nice and tight).
Yes they have TV’s there, so if your not using the clippers you can watch the news or whatever’s on. They do offer an assortment of up chargers, such as a neck shave (which my old Barber did for free) shampoo and put product in your hair.
They do take appointments as well and you can request one of the stylist if she’s working that day. I say she because the only man I’ve ever seen working there seems to be more management or owner than stylist.
Overall it’s good enough for me to come back to get my hair cut, but I wouldn’t recommend my wife going for something more elaborate.

For guys: the basic cut is 14.99 $ (which includes water to wet your hair and the cut). You then leave with soaking wet hair.
To cut and dry they charge 31 $ !!! So, in the dead of winter, it will cost you 31 $ if you don’t want to freeze to death outside…
Also, they don’t smile, don’t talk to you and don’t brush the cut hairs off your face or neck; you get to take those home. However, the cut was decent.
Overall, I’ve never seen such poor service … go to a real barber shop.

It is what it is — quick, clean, friendly, and cheap! Where else can I get a good clean up buzz cut while watching the news on my own personal flat screen LCD? Gotta love it.

The best part: TV’s right next to the mirror. I watched a good part of the Red Sox World Series Parade on my lunch break!

I’m a pretty low-​maintenence kind of girl, so I gotta love a cheap haircut that looks good. And no wait for an appointment either.
The girl who cut my hair (Tina I think) was super nice and also hooked me up with coupons (on top of an already great price). Defintiely a safe bet for people who are just looking for a basic cut.
EDIT…I went back for a second cut about a week ago. The girl cutting my hair (Amanda this time) was super sweet, but the manager who rang me up was a jackass and over-​charged me. Huge thumbs down.
