Interesting auction and car show combo. Nice way to observe the link between car type/​condition and value. Downside is if you pay $ 30 to get in the door you have to stand for hours or sit on kid size metal bleachers… ouch. pay $ 100 – 200 and you get a folding chair. The outfit is very well organized and people are professionals. However the «music» and overall speaker system was so loud I had to leave. The audience can see items via large screen TV but smaller items aren’t viewable because there is no backdrop and staffers crowd into the picture. Overall, I would go again

Watch very carefully. This is no game for amateurs. Mecum does control one iota what the seller states. Seller says frame off restoration, don’t count on it. Mecum certainly does not check and they help the seller rip you off with dishonest advertising and not enforcing any legitimate check of the sellers statements.

I sold couple cars at mecum auto auction … Very cool people and super easy to do business with. We will see you guys next year and will watch all your shows on velocity channel.
