Let me start off by saying i rarely write negative reviews for any business just because i could care less or have time. However, this company NEEDS to exposed.
I was recommended to this shop by Apple because i was experiencing a gray screen issue with my macbook pro 2011.
I dropped off the Macbook and was charged 170 on the spot for Diagnostic Charge and Memory Backup. I approved and went on. A few days later i was given a call that the SATA cable needs to be replaced to which i again approved. The total charge came out to around 260 at this point. I picked up the comp a few days later and brought it home. NOTHING CHANGED. SAME PROBLEM. Had to bring it back once again to rediagnose (was not charged for this). They found it to be that the Hardrive was messed up. They said the charge for the 500gb hard drive was $ 130.00. I looked up the EXACT model and name of the hardrive that was described to me and found it on amazon for $ 60.00. Even after telling the associate this, to which he had no response, i agreed to the price only because it had been 2 weeks by this point that my computer had been at their shop. After a whole week, i was told that the computer was working fine for a few days but after doing automatic updates, it «crashed» and was not accepting any other hardrive now. THIS is where i was told that i now need to pay for the LOGIC BOARD. This is where i drew the line. I paid ~$ 400 dollars and my problem was not fixed, better yet i have a new problem thats completely unrelated to the original issue. if anything their 90 dollar diagnostic charge should have picked that up in the first place. I wouldnt be stretching my words too far to say that i suspected they caused that new issue in the first place just to drain money from me. After contacting the SHOP owner, i was eventually rejected a refund and instead told to contact Apple to contact them. Long story short (yes this is the short version) I spoke to apple and they fixed my computer FOR FREE. Im 400 dollars out right now and i plan to get at least 200 dollars back from this TERRIBLE company. Though Billy, the associate, at the front desk is a nice guy, this shop NEEDS to be closed down. Their claim on their website that they are «Considered the Best Apple Sales and Service Dealer on Long Island and New York City.» IS A COMPLETE BLATANT LIE. I WILL BE COMPLAINING TO APPLE FOR «CERTIFYING THEM» AND WILL MAKE SURE THEY RECEIVE NO BUSINESS. If you would like to hear the full version of this or further details please contact me at

The fact that you reviewed your own company shows how desperate you are to try and make it look good. There’s a reason why your shop looks the way it does and why you have one maybe even two real reviews on Unilocal. (including my own)

I never screamed at any of your employees nor have I ever met you lmao. We exchanged conversation through email and if anyone wants to see that I urge you to ask. I’ve met one employee there by the name of Billy and if he tells you a young college student by the name of Isaac came in and screamed at him please immediately call me cause I was nothing but nice and patient to Billy, who honestly I admire for working in such a terrible place.
To be honest, I don’t need to write anything or waste my time to show you how bad your company is… cause you’ve already done it yourself.
UPDATE NUMBER TWO: OWNER SENDS PRIVATE Unilocal MESSAGES USING DISGRACEFUL LANGUAGE AND THREATENING WITH PHYSICAL HARM.
I have proof of this. Fortunately for me, the review this dispicable owner wrote had my personal address in it (lucky I’m not suing him) and I contacted Unilocal to have the entire review removed. You won’t be able to see the nasty review he wrote and the lies he claimed, but if you still are in doubt, I urge you to contact me through the email I’ve given above.
I really do wish this owner good luck because besides all the nasty things he’s said and claimed, I’d hate to see his shop go in such a disgraceful manner. Reviews are written to critique, not to get personal messages from the owner saying «Your an idiot», «watch what happens to you» etc. I only wish this person would have reacted in a manner more suitable. If this shop does get shut down tho, I won’t be mad. And if doesn’t, I could care less. Well, thank God for Unilocal for exposing such unprofessionalism
