This is a hair salon that wants you to look beautiful before leaving the shop. Each stylist realizes that once you step out of the Antyrice Shop, you represent their professional skills for cutting, coloring, highlights, eyelashes, and hair extensions.
Angie and her staff attend to detail of your head shape, age, hair type as well as budget. Each stylist will show you all choices that are available for your real hair or extensions. They do not try to sell expensive services to you. This shop also stocks wonderful hair extensions in a variety of lengths and textures. Angie can also also order the custom hair item for you quite quickly.
All you need to do is describe what you want (general idea) and the stylists can do it. This salon does all types of hair and has a diverse mix of customers. You can come in with pajama bottoms on and nobody will say a word or talk about you when you leave. Believe me, I have come there with no makeup on, ugly shoes, and clothes you wear around the house. It is a very «down to earth» shop where they are not trying to nickel and dime you for everything.
The salon stylists will work with your schedule and especially if your hair really needs emergency service. I came to Angie when my weave was a mess from another stylist outside of the area. Angie had to redo all of it. She never scolded me or made me feel bad. Her goal was to fix my hair weave that evening. No questions asked — She just did it. Angie did it with three different color hair extensions. I was so relieved! Now I wrap my hair in a scarf every night because I realize that extension hair is an investment. If you don’t use all of your extension hair, Angie or one of the other stylists will put it in a bag for you. To me, this service is very respectful. I have seen other shops throw the extra hair on the floor or save it for themselves!!!
Angie and her staff also do God’s work by taking care of cancer patients, ladies with no hair since they were young, and anyone that wants to try a new hairstyle. requests hair advice. Anytyrice Salon radiates a feeling of respect, care, and dedication to all that enter the shop. Every client is treated well — not just the big spenders!
The salon has a parking lot in the back of the store in Poughkeepsie! I cannot park well so this is great for me! Angie has another shop in the Imperial Plaza/​the Home Depot Plaza. The shop is across from Perkins.
I would come to Angie in a major snowstorm and take a taxi! If you are looking for a true professional salon, with real hair/​extension advice, you will love the shop! If you can dream a hair style, or beautiful hair Angie and her staff can do it!

I get my fusion hair extensions done at An’tyrice and I’ve never had a better experience! Angie and other members of her staff have all done them for me before and unlike the other places I’ve been in the past, which have charged upwards of $ 800, my extensions have been reasonably priced, drastically nicer, and have lasted way longer (3+ months). I definitely recommend this salon not just for their fusion extensions but lots of other extensions they offer as well as their other hair care and amazing spa treatments!

Purchased a Groupon for a keratin treatment and didn’t wash my hair for four days as instructed, after I washed it, I didn’t notice a difference and my hair was still frizzy/​wavy. I’ve had this done at a different salon before and the 3 – 4 day waiting period at this salon kept my hair greasy/​wet and smelly. By the forth day I wanted to puke from the smell. At the other place I went to, my hair was dry and didn’t have a smell. Not sure what type of keratin they are using here but it doesn’t work!

I just want to say what a fantastic experience I had at this salon, beginning with the receptionist who went above and beyond in a friendly, helpful manner. She even went to the store next door with me to help me pick out lashes.
Then, Nadia applied the lashes and she did an amazing job. I love them! Nadia was kind and gentle and provided me with the information I needed to know about the care of the lashes so they would last longer. When I was leaving the other stylists remarked at how nice the lashes looked, and they did!
An’tyrice is a clean, warm, and friendly environment. I am very happy I found this salon. I will return and tell my friends about it. Thank you all at An’tyrice for treating me like a special friend and not like just another customer.

Love this salon. I been to both locations, very clean, professional, and friendly. I also like that the stylist recommends things to benefit the hair and tells you what they’re using on your hair.
