Okay, first off let me start with this — I’m not a fan of this company. I prefer Buy Buy Baby 100 times over Babies R Us. With that said, I came to this store last minute to purchase things for a baby shower. I had already purchased a bassinet from BBB but wanted to buy smaller items off the registry here. This store was SO limited with their inventory I decided to make gift baskets and bought small random things. The staff was somewhat helpful but the girl ringing me up did not look like she wanted to be there. I’ll only come back here if in the area and in need of something. Other wise… I’ll skip it.

I have spent a lot of time in this store over the last 6 months or so since I just gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl at the end of May. This location is huge, but if you have kids, you probably have seen Babies R Us stores that are even bigger. You may be unpleasantly surprised to find that this location does not have everything that should be in the store as indicated on the website(e.g., Peg Perego, Maxi Cosi, Quinny). Nevertheless, this location is easy to navigate and has a lot of open space for you to be able to easily find what you need without being too confused. The staff have mostly been helpful, although there have been times where I’ve encountered someone who told me something(hey, that Graco set is being discontinued!) that other staff people either discredit or can’t verify. All in all, the staff are alright here, and the store is pretty decent. If you’re a pregnant lady who really wants to have a great all-encompassing Babies R us experience when you are registering, for instance, I would recommend going to the store in Danbury. They have a lot more stuff there, like Peg Perego strollers on display, that can help you really make the best decision for your babies.

I don’t have kids, or babies, so babies r us was a different kind of experience for me. I was helping a friend buy a gift for a baby shower. Thankfully, we had the gift registry with us so we had an idea of what to look for. I think we asked the same salesperson for help 5 different times, and he was always super helpful. It would have taken a lot longer for us to find anything without guidance! The store layout was a little confusing at first but as long as you read the signs it’s pretty clear where to go. If we hadn’t had the gift registry I’m not sure if the experience would have been different. Actually, it would have been harder I’m sure. However, everyone was super nice and helped us very lost souls find our way around. I would definitely come back again for baby-related shopping!

The store has lots of stuff but not much else. I like me a store with some personality and even a «babies only superstore» should be able to accomodate some genuine love. ALL the coupons and specials have so many«clauses» that its doubtful they pertain to too many people. I recieved coupons and thought«how gr8 as I needed a baby gift» but when I presented the coupon I was advised I failed to meet ALL the prerequisites to use it! How absurd — either its 20% off or it isn’t ! I had called ahead to inquire if they had a certain baby toy, was advised they did indeed carry it…45minutes later — I was in the store and they did NOT have the product I called about. Drats! Its about the babies… can’t there be more LOVE?
