Pizza Time Restaurant

This place is one of my favorite pizza places. The employees are so nice and the food is fantastic. There chicken rolls are amazing and the pepperoni rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Plus after 8:00 pm everything on the counter is half off.

I was ready to try Pizza Time for the first time… until one of their delivery drivers came screaming through the neighborhood, presumably while either delivering or returning from a delivery. I’ll assume returning based on the direction of travel.
At any rate, if this is the way their drivers act, it speaks volumes about the business in general. Sorry, no Pizza Time for me until they put a leash on their drivers. BTW, he drives what looked like a grey Subaru Justy or similar. Get your kids off the street and take cover if you see this asshole coming!

I have ordered many times here. The pizza is only ok but, the last straw for me was today. I went to their website and they have a coupon for 24.99. They told me they would not honor it and the price has changed. Well, I hope it was worth it pizza time, I will NEVER order from a place who does a «Bait & Switch» If you want to raise your price fine but, you need to change your web site.

There are several pizza/​Italian restaurants closer to our house, and some of them are probably cheaper– but we always order from Pizza Time!
Its a nice little restaurant sandwiched in a petite ugly strip mall; You would almost miss it if you were driving by. The restaurant itself is clean and there is indoor seating/​eat in option.
The best part about Pizza Time is of course the excellent pizza! I order pizza from this joint once every couple of months (I don’t eat/​order out much), and every time I impressed by the quality of this pizza. Its tastes great, the toppings are fresh (I’m a fan of mushrooms on pizza and I can’t count how many places I’ve been to that top their pizza with CANNED MUSHROOMS– a culinary felony in my book), its not over-​cheesed or over-​sauced. I am never disappointed by Pizza Time, and being that pizza isn’t the healthiest or most balanced meal, I feel ok about my selection because I know I’ve at least chosen pizza that excels in taste/​quality– I feel like I’m enjoying it versus regretting it. I’ve definitely eaten some crap pizza and felt post-​carb-​grease regret, its not a fun feeling. This is not an issue post-​Pizza Time meal.
I will give Pizza time 5 stars based on the fresh pizza– I regretfully will knock of one star due to an experience of ordering a couple slices of pizza in their display counter that was ½ off (at some point in the evening, I forget when, the older pizza in the display case is up for sale) along with my normal order of a delectable pizza pie– and the old pizza was not so great at all. I attribute this to it sitting in the case all day. It was borderline bad (as in taste wise not fresh/​rotten wise).
I can’t vouch for the other menu items because I tend to stick to ordering pizza.

Since moving to Hopewell, I have yet to find a pizza that I crave — that is, until I discovered Pizza Time. This is a little pizza restaurant with just a few tables, and I thought they were only there to cater to the Van Wyck Jr. High crowd. One day, I called up and ordered a Veggie Pizza to go. I don’t even know if that is on the menu. It was a little pricey ($ 19) when I picked it up, but they threw in some garlic knots. Well, when I got home, this turned out to be the best veggie pizza I have ever had. It had so many vegetables on it, that it truly justified the price. I have since been to other restaurants and tried the veggie pizza there (for maybe $ 15 or $ 16) but forget about that. It didn’t even come close. So now, I don’t have to regret moving to Hopewell and away from my previous favorite pizza. I found, without a doubt, the best pizza in town.
