If you’re going to have a parent die in another city unexpectedly, hopefully they won’t be a hoarder. Or infirm to the point where they’re living among boxes of rotting memories, expired homemade cancer cures, and god what is inside that box? But if you do and you live in or near Duchess County, these guys are amazeballs. They are friendly, sympathetic, and they clear out what needs clearing. They do what you’re most likely crippled by exhaustion and grief to do yourself. Lets face it, by the time you’ve rescued your photos, the jewelry, and the keepsakes, you just need the crap tossed or recycled or taken away. These guys are courteous, they donate what they can, and avoid turning it into more waste. That way you can just curl up on your couch holding your Raggedy Anne doll crying«why, mommy, why» for the next three months.
