I went here last fall with family and thought it was very good. Went again this past weekend and still is a decent place. They now have a waiting room upstairs that is about as big as the restaurant. I should have checked it out to see how many people were there. They said 20 min wait, I thought that meant 1 or 2 groups at most upstairs but there were more and the wait was just over 30 min, but the food is worth it. But while standing there I saw that after a group would leave the table was bussed and cleaned but sat empty for too long. I also HATE that they set the table with the cutsey plates and then clear them away? What an absolute WASTE of time, maybe if it is slow but when people already waited upstairs had a drink and pretty much know what they want to order why set the plates then clear them? Just get fresh drinks and take the order…

Wonderful food at a very moderate cost. $ 33 for 2; wine, dinners, and desert. Many choices. Small dining room however.

This is a nice place to eat out with nice staff. My wife really likes the chicken piccata. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. The down sides are that they are only open four days a week and that they have very few tables. I often feel like going there and then realize it is the wrong day of the week. Most of the time I go, I don’t have to wait too long, but a few times we had to leave because of the waiting line. This place is certainly worth a try.

The only thing I can say bad about this place is that they aren’t open more or longer. This restaurant is the best. Quality of food is fantastic, service is always great, atmosphere is wonderful– and the prices?! You can afford to eat here without taking out a second mortgage. Love. This. Place.

I have eaten here a few times since June. I have been amazed by their dishes. Two that stand out are the baked haddock and the clam chowder. The baked haddock was lightly breaded and lightly seasoned. However, the flavor was the best haddock that I have ever had. The clam chowder is the less thick kind. But once again, it had a phenomenal flavor. I have had a chance to dine in dozens of area restaurants recently that served clam chowder(in Boston, Plymouth, Wareham, Buzzards Bay, on Cape Cod, Providence RI) and Café Soleil’s ranks in my top 2. Lastly, I would consider the prices to be on the lower end, especially for the high quality. The prices for entrees are between $ 10 – 15. I recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is small. And as of the last time that I went, they did not take reservations. So either go early or be prepared to wait.

Great Views, Friendly staff and good, fairly priced dishes. Mix of Italian and Seafood, lots to offer. My wife had 2 cosmos and she was good to go. $ 7 each, cheap date. Wish they had a few taps and a larger selection of spirits(hint, Ketel) but everything was great. Not sure why we haven’t been here more often to this point but sure to change that.

Delicious! Can’t wait to go back again. I had the stuffed baked haddock and the boyfriend had the shrimp scampi and both were perfect and great sized portions. Can’t beat the prices either. You must try the fried Mac and cheese balls, pure bliss!

My Sister and her Husband took me there last summer when I was visiting them. The food was amazing we all had different meals and each one was fabulous. I loved it so much I took them there the next night. I can’t wait to go back this summer.

We were happy to hear about a new restaurant in the area run by local people. We went last Friday night about six, knowing full well there would be await. No problem waiting, problem is no place to wait! Intimate would be on the large side. Everybody waiting was in the way of the wait staff at one time or another, don’t get me wrong the staff acted like this was the norm because it was. the place is just to small for the amount of business they do. No less than eight parties left while we waited. To the food my wife had the shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta not bad cooked safe meaning not really spicy, i had the steak tips with fries pretty good. Prices were great 35 dollars for dinner and one drink each.

Nice intimate dining spot over looking the Wareham River. Many of the seats had a nice water view. The food is solid home cooking. Price can’t be beat. We had the Mac and Cheese Balls app which was yummy. The Chicken Piccata was tasty. The bar and wine choices are very limited but fine. The ladies room was VERY, VERY clean. Loved that. Seriously probably cleanest restaurant bathroom I’ver ever been in. The prices make it tempting to want to do «family dining» but this place is very small and would recommend only bringing children who are very well behaved diners.

Great food at great Price’s.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a large menu but everything is fresh and homemade. I went there with a party of six. We called ahead to save a table because its a small place. We started off with the Mac and cheese balls which was to die for. I had the meatloaf and the wife had the chicken piccata which was really good. Overall I was very impressed with the whole overall experience and I will go back again probably frequently.

Went last night with 4 adults. Had the chicken piccata, baked haddock, and shrimp scampi. Everything was delicious, served nicely, and perfectly cooked. Service is excellent, the restaurant is cute and cozy, and the prices are so good. This is my fourth visit and the food has always been excellent. Two items particularly worthy of mention are the baked, mashed, fried potato and the chocolate dessert… perfection!

We visited last night for the first time. Very cute, understated décor and extremely friendly attentive waitstaff. I had the chicken parm, it was the best I’ve had in this area. 1000x better than Mamma Mia’s. My boyfriend had the salisbury steak special which was also delicious– like meatloaf on crack. The best part was that the bill was $ 30 for an app, a glass of wine, two entrees, and a dessert. We will definitely be back!

What a great hidden treasure in Wareham! We went there last night after hearing a raving review from another Wareham resident that I know. Word must be getting out because it was packed. However, our wait was only 20 mins max. The wait staff was wonderful, they worked as a team and also made sure each table was happy. For drinks we both got the pink bubbly mascato. The bottles were the size of a glass and came in a tiny silver pale full of ice. Such an awesome idea! We started off our meal with the deep fried Mac and cheese balls. Finally a restaurant that can make them right because they are still gooey on the inside. We both ordered the baked stuff haddock, which was amazing as well. It came with a side of rice and vegetable medley. We took our time eating and never felt rush by the staff which was very nice. After letting our meal settle we decided to try the chocolate fudge cupcake. We got one after seeing how thick and dense it was. Like everything else we ate the cupcake was fantastic! At the end of the night we got the bill with all we ate and drank it was very reasonably priced as well! We will definitely be going back!

Just an amazing dinner here tonight. I believe mine was the Chicken Piccata, just perfectly and lightly fried chicken with a caper sauce over angel hair. It was just superb.

Such a cute place with great views of the water. The prices are low and the quality of food is high. I ordered the fish and chips which came out on authentic«newsprint» with a mini fryer basket of fries-such presentation! Definitely a hidden gem in Wareham.

We stopped in to take a break from the killer Cape traffic. Great view, great food, great atmosphere. My baked haddock was to die for. My dad’s classic fish and chips were among THE best I have ever tasted. If fries are your thing they are fresh and right out of the frier(served in the fry cage). Also my brothers ordered the Mac and cheese casserole(note: no childrens’ menu, but kid friendly options such as mac and cheese and a «second mate’s» portion of fish and chips) but they wanted bacon on it. The waitress said they did not have bacon because they had used it all in the stuffing for the weekly special. When the meals came out both the Mac and cheeses had bacon on them and both my brothers were overjoyed! The prices here are amazing only the special was over $ 12 and every meal was quality and large(and worth a lot more!). Water views are spectacular, definitely a good excursion.

What a nice and cozy restaurant. Wait staff were very attentive. Talk about a hidden gem. Portions are large and there isn’t anything on the menu above $ 13.75.My Mom had the steak tips which were tender. The baked, mashed, deep fried potato was great. My cousin got shrimp with with lemon and garlic came with about 30 good size shrimp. Can’t wait to go there again.

I wish I didn’t have to write this review. Once people know how good this place is the waits will be unbearable. Oh well… Anyway, the food here is excellent, the prices are way too cheap, the ambiance is very nice, and the staff is super friendly. That being said I can’t wait to back, hopefully no one reads this and I can get seated immediately, I’m guessing this secret wont last much longer though.

Wow, I can’t believe I’m the first review. First of all, don’t all rush for the window booths overlooking the lovely Swan Pond…(not the real name) I think it’s actually the upper part of the Wareham River, but lovely all the same.) the food is great, always fresh, although she called it’s Yesterdays Chodaw, it’s really quite good and made fresh for sure. The owner and family that helps in the kitchen(sometimes) is always friendly and happy to explain the menu… Oh, you’ll love the motif… down to the«charger plates» that will be on your table to read cute little phases” Wine is very resaonble and always chilled perfectly… you’ve just got to give this a try… but If I beat you to the window booths… the food is just as tasty at the tables… Lots of Luck to the young and friendly owners… Kate and Tony… Friday Night Regulars
