Casa Cancun

Perfect spot for your typical Mexican food. What sets Casa Cancun apart from the rest is how good staff is to the customers. There is one guy that always seems to be there making sure everything is good; must be the manager, every waitress we have ever had there has been excellent, cooks always have the food come out right, never had a bartender mix a bad drink.

The food is still the best Mexican in the Wareham area (not saying a whole lot), but I still don’t like their house Margaritas. Until the Margaritas get better, they will never get 5 stars from me.

Almost gave 2 stars based on my last visit, and hope it isn’t a trend but it seems the service and quality are headed down.
I have been going here a while but didn’t review yet.
It was great at the beginning and I thought a rave review might bring in crowds. I also wanted to see and make sure their was consistency.
My last visit here was one week before Christmas as I took a break from shopping.
I sat at the bar.
The bartender was ok but could have been a little more attentive given the low number of people at the bar. I was never offered chips & salsa so had to ask for them.
My drink came I ordered my food and again asked for chips and salsa.
I was then told the person that usually brings them out had called in sick so they were behind?
Really? You have time to lean and watch TV and you cant go get some chips?
I ordered fish tacos, something I’ve had here at least 3 times in the past.
This time they were much different from before, Some of it was they showed up not hot but just lukewarm! come on people Safe Serve, food should be cooked to a certain temp and maintained there. But the food seemed old or definitely not fresh. I was going to say less flavor full, but it had plenty of flavor just some of it was bad.
I hope this was just an abnormality and not a sign of changes.

This place is great. I get combo 2 where you get to pick 2 items. I get a chicken burrito and what’s called a chimichanga. They say you can’t get 2 chimichangas so you know they’re good. I actually don’t know the difference between the burrito and the chimichanga so tonight I’m ordering 2 burritos and one chimichanga. Basic math will tell me which one is a chimichanga because there’ll only be one of those and 2 burritos. I will post a photo so you can see. They have an awesome staff too with great service.

Just ehh. Bring some salt too. I got the combo 3 and everything was covered in enchilada sauce that tasted like ketchup. Portion was ok. Wife got fish tacos take I guess weren’t good or bad. Considered underwhelming. Daughter got chicken tenders and fries those were fine.
I can’t get their chips. They’re ok, kinda thick, which I like. But mostly these restaurants make their own. I don’t think these were. They were not warm, soft or greasy, usually a sign they’re house made. The salsa was fine. The place is pretty nice. Nice décor, clean. Nice atmosphere.
Outside of the food being bland, the menu looked good and they place was nice.

This was our second visit as the first was great and the second was just as good or better. This time I had the pulled pork chimichanga special and my wife had the taco salad. My entire dish was superb and my only issue was maybe too many onions. My wife liked her dish a lot too. The margaritas were fantastic and we will go back just for those and nachos (their salsa and nachos are really great too). Really love this place for Mexican and good service too. Will be back many more times.

Food was a 3.5, sevice was a 5. My wife and I had a sample dish and the portions were big but all 4 things tasted the same, pretty good but the same. I will definetly go back and try other things.

Decided to give this place a try after seeing such wonderful reviews here on Unilocal.However, we were sorely disappointed. It was good food, don’t get me wrong, but we expected better than el mariachi downtown based on the reviews we had read.
I got chicken tortilla soup and there was mmmmaybe four bites of chicken and an entire basket of tortilla strips… seriously. Hubby said the chimichanga and the enchilada were delicious, as well as the queso dip. The chips were great and the margaritas were yummy. Fried ice cream? Don’t bother! We couldn’t even chew it. It was like it was rolled in stale cornflakes or something. The service was super slow and prices too high.

Great food. Large portions. The nachos were covered w lots of melted cheese. They didn’t skimp on ingredients. Fish tacos were awesome.
The margaritas were phenomenal. I tried regular & cranberry-​jalapeño. Really tasty!
Katlyn was very attentive & made the wonderful drinks!

I had to flag a waitress down initially, but at least the chips came out quickly. The chips and salsa were ok; the salsa was definitely watery. They carry Negro Modelo on tap which is great.
We ordered a Chicken quesadilla and it came out beef. No worries: we ate it anyway! The waitress apologized for her mistake. It was a little greasy, but tasty.
I almost ordered the Mexican fried dough, but it was getting late and I wasn’t all that hungry. It looked good though!

Went here for dinner. We sat at the bar. I asked for a suggestion on the margaritas and the bartender was very helpful and made it perfect. The chips and salsa was fantastic! The chips were fresh and warm and the salsa very fresh and a little spicy. We got steak and chicken fajitas. They were great! Were not from here but WILL go back again if we return to the area!

Family dinner night can be a struggle so why not come to this family friendly joint? The choices are healthy and the food is delicious. A win win combo of you ask me! The place is in my option a little price but what isn’t nowadays. We started with the table side guacamole service. You can choose how spicy you want and I like it spicy sorry kids! The I followed it up with fish tacos. Yum yum. Next time I went I got the green burrito. All in all I don’t think any things a fail on Casa Cancun’s menu! Thanks we will be back!

This place is great! The food taste amazing and authentic. Very nice customer service, I will definitely recommend his restaurant to friends and family.

Tried Casa Cancun on a Monday night and it was excellent. Beautiful interior, excellent margaritas, very good food and excellent service. Enjoyable Mexican music, missing in most Mexican restaurants. Half price apps with the purchase of a margarita on Mondays and great deal Taco Tuesdays. Highly recommended. This is cut-​above Mexican.

Ordered off the lunch menu which was half the price of their dinner menu, and portions were still huge. Delicious too. Service was great and even my 4 yo and 9 yo finished their plates.
I really hope they stay around, because we will definitely come back.

Great food and great atmosphere. The people here are extremely friendly. Easy to get to as well as park. Outstanding selection. Just opened a few weeks ago and on my 4^th visit.

Newly opened. First visit. Everything obviously freshly made. Wonderful meal. Excellent drinks. Our server, Ramona, made the experience unforgettable.
Welcome to the neighborhood.
The only suggestion I can make is to lower the lights but that’s my preference.
