Friendly and helpful staff. Wrapped presents at no extra charge and did a great job. Rare authentic atmosphere with a variety of novelty products. Man even hand carving wood sculptures in the store.

Really cool store. Lots of chochky items, but some really good finds. Prices very, some things seem a bit on the pricey side while others are great deals. We do drop in when ever we are in the area.

This is the cutest store ever — it’s impossible to make it around this store without seeing something you just can’t live without :) And it’s deceptively huge too, it goes on forever and each room is full of products that are unique and carefully selected. The owner is so sweet and friendly — this is the kind of store I’ll return to over and over because it just makes me feel good being in there :)

I am a HUGE fan of this store! They sell everything from Stonewall Kitchen jams, sauces, and jellies to Birch Beer and vintage coca-cola or beautiful glassware to serve food on. They have a little bit of everything there and the people who own the store are so kind and so helpful. I love coming here for Christmas gifts. One year I purchased a cute set of coffee mugs and then also purchased their delicious flavored coffees(which they grind for you if you ask) and made a gift basket out of that. They sell very cute jewelry as well. And let’s not forget the candies and chocolates they sell. Anytime I stop in I bring my husband home a truffle. I love coming here and the only thing I would change is the hours so they were open longer. If you are in Wareham you have to stop in here!

They sell Simpson Spring Coffee Soda here. It’s delicious. It reminds me of tiramisu. I think you need a bottle opener to open it. Maybe they have one on the premises. I don’t know. They also sell fine chocolates and candy here. I got a chocolate-covered pecan praline. It was very good. But there’s more than just food here. They have a lot of artsy crafty things, and a section for people who enjoy cooking. I like the small wooden keepsake/trinket boxes they sell. It’s easy to find, near Route 28. You can take a side street near the Mill Pond Diner and cut over to Elm St. Like a few other places on the cape they tend to close early, so check the hours before you go.

A rather odd discovery for e on a Sunday afternoon was the Old Company store, sitting almost on top of a rushing river. It’s a nice throwback to penny candy, soda desks, and down home lifestyle. They have many arrangements of hard to find knick knacks and unique recipe packages. Things like Cranberry Pancake mix and Ginger Spice lemonade grace the shelves. As with the largest collection of Willow Tree statutes I’ve ever seen in one place at at a time. Cute pet things, and glass jars are also a fixture here. The elderly woman here was nice too. She was probably my favorite cashier of all time.

My favorite place in Wareham! Upon walking into the Old Company Store, you are greeted by friendly staff who encourage you to browse. I love the set up of the store — very New England-old time general store. There have costume jewelry, bags and purses, a wall of candy, a barrel of pickles and rooms full of great gifts from local artists. Can’t wait to go back!

I happened by this store about 10 years ago by luck. I’ve gone back here each year for much of my Christmas Shopping and even for some other occasions like birthdays. The people working in this store are some of the nicest people you will encounter. The items in the store are of an eclectic variety but top quality. The setting is in an old company store and each visit is like an adventure as the merchandise is always changing. It is a must stop if you are on your way to/from the cape. It’s right off the cranberry highway. You won’t be sorry if you stop. One caution if you park on the road, — especially if you have kids, look both ways as the locals tend to speed and don’t tend to yield for pedestrians.

Probably the only cool store in Wareham, MA. Wonderful store with a nice assortment of EVERYTHING. From penny candy, to artsy mugs, specialty food items, books, cards, stationary… all very nice. It’s in a picturesque setting, right across the street from the historic Tremont Nail Company. If you’re on 495 heading to or from the Cape it’s a neat spot to stop and poke around.

This is my favorite store for many miles. I have dropped many a dinero here for Christmas and bdays. They have the coolest, most eclectic collection under 1 roof. Many gourmet goodies and Cape/Shore items. They are not cheap, but Ocean State this is not! Everything is high quality and well made. Great staff, helpful and fun but not hovering or pushy. Gift wrap and great locally roasted coffee. I am an old duff now, but remember my aunties taking me here as a tyke in the 70’s for penny candy and pickles in a wooden barrel. Its still the same, you can go home!!!

By FAR the best place to shop for girly gifts. THE best customer service available. Gift wrapping makes your gifts stress free as well. Coffee mugs, accessories, books, candles, kid stuff, artsy gifts, books, bookmarks, cards, cape cod jewelry, costume jewelry, and so very much more – and all with a smile and complimentary coffee.
