Austin Pointe Apartments

Austin Point is better now that the old Management and maintenance is gone.

I wish hall housing, who owns austin pointe was legit. They aren’t and have tons of complaints source: better business bureaus web site. We lived there for two years. Jean is a crook. We moved from a two bedroom to a three bedroom to get away from the mold and the roaches and she made us pay 150.00 transfer fee. We did recover most of the money except for 75.00. We should have gotten that in writing before we did that. Thats when everything fell apart. We had drug dealers below us and we also had a family that were abusive towards each other too. Everyone in the building decided to take action. We formed our own neighborhood watch and it took six months to twelve for them to be evicted. I had enough and broke our contract to get my family out of there and then jean sent me a bill for 150.00 after keeping our security deposit and that 75.00. The bill was due to damages done that were there well before we moved in and I kept all our records for that and sent all that back to the company and never heard a thing about it and never got a return phone call from them. Renters beware. There is a high crime rate there source warner robins police dept. Got alot of police reports since we moved out in 2012. We live in a nicer place with neighborhood watch and great neighbors. Been here since 2012 and rent is now cheaper than austin pointe.

The apartments are not bad the rooms are spacious and the rent is cheap. The management Jean is the worst on several occasions she and her little partner Holly would leave the office for hours at a time when rent was due. tenants had to leave their rent money in the slots without getting a receipt. Thank God Holly finally quit now if only that lying Jean would leave maybe the property can get fixed up like it should. Jean lie all the time she place notices on the door saying they will be changing the air filters, they will inspect the apt no one ever shows up, she say the exterminator is coming and never show up. Maintenance is a Joke it’s one guy who take care of over 100 apartments its ridiculous it took months for him the change the light bulb in the breezeway. You can here your neighbors walking the floors are cheap and thin. It could be nice if they got rid of Jean and replace her with someone who really cares about the place and their tenants and hire a bigger maintenance crew. And the guy who Does the appliances fixes is a joke he don’t know what he’s doing and I doubt if he went to school.
