Why would I as a senior eat here, I can go to Golden Corral and between 1 & 4 pm get a senior discount while this place offers nothing!

Food was good, hot, fresh and a nice variety of classic American southern cooking. Staff was friendly and fast .

Very disappointed today
Their pricing has jumped dramatically
They took away the Senior lunch pricing
Almost $ 3 increase
Give the seniors a drink for a dollar
Big deal. We drink water with lunch
Waitress was good & attentive
Vegetables could have been a little warmer
Not a working senior best buy for lunch

Hands down some of the best fried chicken in town. Some of the other dishes are questionable, but I pick and choose what I know hasn’t let me down. If you want quick home style southern cooking without the wait, can’t beat Old Times. food is always good and staff has always been friendly and quick.

This is a buffet style home cooking restaurant. Everyday the buffet changes a little. The said bar is well stocked and fresh. The Dessert bar is the best buffet in town.
I just had a Christmas party in the private room. The staff was great. The food was good. I don’t think we could ask for any better.
As you read the reviews that have been left. You have to wonder if some of these people are ever happy?
This place has good prices, for good food and it’s fast!

Came a while back and was very disappointed. I don’t know what has changed, but the food is fresh, home made and very delicious! ! Service has been awesome, everything is very clean, and I feel the value of the price for the quality of food was exceeded! !

Ok. You walk in a place that looks like it is stuck in the 80s but we sat down and decided to give it a try. As Midwesterns, southern food is what we wanted… we were not disappointed.
This place is not for health nuts but for people who want good fried chicken, black eyes peas, tasty ribs, catfish wasn’t bad, crawfish yummy and loved the fried corn bread.
Note, this place is not pretty but its about southern cooking and good service.
Pros: Fried Chicken, lima beans, fish and ribs and clean buffet station.
Cons: Salad bar uses iceberg lettuce instead of mixes greens; no labels to let you know what you are eating; steaks over cooked
Bottomline: For the price. it works. Good Southern dishes and no faking to be something else. Not for health nuts but sit and enjoy.

I ate here numerous times during my visit to GA to see my grandparents. After the first time I was hooked and went back as many times as my visit would allow. They have great food with lots of options. I wish there was a place like this where I live. The sweet tea they serve is perfection and they keep it coming. There is a big salad bar, hot food buffet, and tons of desserts to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the dining area is clean and comfortable. My favorites were the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken livers, fried fish, mashed potatoes, gravy, fried okra, and of course the sweet tea.
