We stopped here on our way back from Florida to Atlanta. We took a chance, because the Outbacks in Atlanta, to our experience, have become so bad(especially my neighborhood one in Dunwoody). But I digress. This restaurant was nothing short of great. The food was spot-on, the facility was spotless, and our server(Seth) was fantastic. He was attentive, thorough, friendly and fast. One of the best waiters I’ve ever had. I unequivocally recommend this restaurant.

Service and food are the best in town! Call ahead or use the phone app on weekends, it gets busy!

Seems like most the reviews here were correct. Being packed I was ready for a long wait time. Waiter did a good job. Salad was good for what it was. The one thing that is dragging the review down to two stars was the steak. Small and undercooked with more gristle than a steak from Kroger would have.

This place has serious issues — from the front door to the back. Seaters are a couple of young snots who need to be taught that the customers are the reason they have a job, not the other way around. Cooks need to learn the menu descriptions of meat cooking. Medium does NOT mean still mooing and gushing blood. Medium also does not mean cooked dry and brown. How the same cook completely misses both is a mystery. Crab cakes were dry and not sent with sauce. Margaritas served In mason jars. God sakes, buy some proper glassware. It’s no wonder your ranking is lower than Kroger deli and NuWay Hotdog. Diners: Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else!

Had great service; very friendly hostess and waitress. I did get a really funky/dirty bread plate. A good waitress will inspect everything before putting it before a customer but, that aside, service was great. The garden salad was typical; no problem there. My steak was cooked correctly and it was good but it had a lot of gristle in it though. The garlic mashed potatos didn’t taste right. They had some flavor that wasn’t garlic, wasn’t butter, salt, or potato. Anyway, I steered clear of them after a bite or two. This restaurant just didn’t do well enough to make me come back. The food taste about the same as what I would make at home. I would expect a much better meal when paying $ 28. I travel a lot with my job and eat out a.lot.I’m not a «foody» but I do know good food. I findimg that I am avoiding these chains a lot more because they are getting«tired» and standards start slipping because they can rely on brand recognition to keep patrons coming.

We came in for lunch today. We ordered the chicken quesadillas which we liked. Our waiter was nice and attentive. What we didn’t like was the hamburgers we ordered. They were burned even though I ordered medium well. They were also dry. There was no one hardly there so there wasn’t a rush to blame on this. My burger had way too much mustard on it and the fries were nothing special. My husbands double burger looked nothing close to the picture. My side salad was a total waste of money. I have worked in food service and know how frustrating it is to send food back. Something is definitely wrong if a burger from Mcdonald’s would have been better.

Once again I have tried and once again they have failed. I think ‘oh let’s just grab something quick at outback, it looks good on the commercials, and its always packed.’ We sat around the bar area, and while the waitress was clearly busy she wasn’t that bad. We just ordered appetizers and drinks. The tuna app, was the only good thing. The potato soup was salty and watery. Then we waited… And waited… I asked my husband, am I just tired and being impatient, or is this taking forever? The server came over and she was just as surprised that we hadn’t gotten anything. She asked the kitchen, and they lost our ticket! Now I understand things happen, and she was truthful which we appreciate. She said she was telling the manager, and he came over and said he would comp us. Ok, great, they handled the situation really well! By the book! Now the reason I gave it one star, was entirely because the food was TERRIBLE. The coconut shrimp were overcooked. Sweet rubber basically. The caprese salad was unbalanced, and the three basic components were all terrible. Way to much cheese, the tomatoes were not ripe, and they were all cut different sizes. The worst part though was the outrageous amount of strong raw garlic. It was awful. Then ironically, the garlic fries had no garlic. And were simultaneously over greasy and limp. No, thank you!

The food was ok, it was pretty busy and there didn’t seem to be enough staff. I asked for bread and soup before the meal. I pretty much got everything all at once after a long wait. Not amazing, but I was in need of a big steak…

Even a mediocre chain ‘steakhouse’ should be able to properly prepare steak. This Outback location does not. All three steaks we ordered were cooked poorly. My sirloin was ordered medium, poorly butchered and cut in the shape of a doorstop, and arrived medium well. The iceberg in my salad had turned red in places. The worst offense, though, was the porterhouse. My buddy ordered his medium, and the thing came out well done and completely gray with absolutely no sear. In my experience it’s incredibly difficult to dry out a porterhouse, but they succeeded in doing just that. Until they move their new line cook back to dishwashing duty, do yourself a favor and grab a steak next door(Kroger) to throw on the grill at home.

Terrible service, sat at the table for at least ten minutes and never greeted or acknowledged by our server even though she walked by our table 5 times getting thjngs for the table next to us. Can’t comment on the food because we got up and left before we could order.

Normal outback food. Service is terrible! Bar tender is useless, she took forever, complained about how hungry she was and counted down the minutes till closing time. Corporate really needs to take a look at management in this location and make some changes. A lot of people are going to start avoiding this particular location because the servers and bartenders are inappropriate and more worried about everything other than the current customer. Come on Outback, you’re better than this!

During a 45 plus minute wait I decided to visit the restrooms and discovered several empty tables on my way. I guess this could be blamed on lack of servers except there were several standing around and then when we were finally seated all of the tables were full. Not sure what marketing scheme making people wait 45 minutes to be seated is… Once we ordered(an additional 40 minutes passed) and the food came one of my side items were left off and my husbands loaded backed potato came unassembled. His steak was over cooked and poor cut of meat.

Poor service at the bar. Our food came out 45 minutes after our order went in. Staff never checked up on our food. Food was nasty! Tough chewy steaks. Our date night restaurant has failed us.

Can’t understand how anyone can give this place four or five stars. First time there and the last. Soup came out cold with a film on top of it since it was probably sitting under the heat lamp for 25 minutes. Our waiter literally dropped our food on the table in front of us and was gone. My wife asked a waitress for some catsup, he was nowhere to be found. I was never offered a soup or salad refill, my wife’s food was lousy. Bad experience.

We eat here often and the service depends on the server. Tonight we had a waitress in training and she did great. Bread was fresh and hot! Had the sesame salad with ahi tuna. The tuna was not great. We’ll be back again next week I’m sure ;-)

Come here alot. The food is always good. Tonight I got a waitress in training. She did really good. The odd thing this tonight was the hostess. The girl sat 2 people and walked right by my table. There was a napkin in the floor. The hostess had to step over it. The customer slipped on it. As the hostess walk back to her station she stepped over the napkin again. She was going to leave it on the floor! My wife spoke to her and then the hostess picked the napkin up. She acted like it was putting her out. Just goes to show good help is hard to come by these days.

Decent place. I give credit where it’s due. This is my fourth check in and I hope this will be a better food experience than the last three times. I love steaks like anyone else and I always have them medium rare. When my steak arrived it was only medium rare in certain areas if that makes sense. Three separate occasions. No a happy guy at all. I don’t think I will make this place my steak destination. Today I’m trying their wings. The regulars say they are to die for.

I went to dine here for the first time(in GA) with a few friends and from jump, I was sorely disappointed. The waiter was behaving very odd and everyone at the table noticed it. We brushed it off and ordered our drinks: water, 2 cocktails and a Diet Coke…*26 minutes later* The waiter came by to inform us that the tap on the beer malfunctioned so the drink orders would take a while to come out. Oh really? Ugh, so after getting the regular Coke and cocktails, the basic water came out AFTER asking 3 times. The food was meh. I ordered the baked potato soup & seared Ahi tuna appetizer and they were ok. We requested to speak with the manager afterward and he knew the waiter was having a «moment» so he was very accommodating to comp our appetizers. I won’t return, but at least the management was happy to rectify the bad service.

This Outback location is not mindblowing and as Jess K stated, it’s pretty much like any other Outback you would find. What I’m not enthused about is their supposed new«schnazzy» menu. Outback is Outback and that’s that! Nothing too fancy and not a place where someone on a diet should choose to dine. A huge pet peeve, as I was a waitress for 6 years, is their terrible service at this location. Unacceptable. They are slow, forgetful and at times rude for being reminded that they need to refill a glass or get defensive if they screwed up an order.
