Our group visited this winery on Emerald Wine Tours today. I honestly to not have much to say good about it. Out of 3 wineries the wine here was not even comparable to the quality of the other two. Lady named Gail pouring wine at tasting bar yelled over to of us and treated us like children. And if that was not bad enough, she placed our food in boxes on a table and told us to just find our name and walked away. What ever happened to customer service. They had a very loud band at this winery and we could not even enjoy the patio because of how loud it was. Two other ladies working were polite but it seemed like Gail was a control freak. We were also told that we would get a behind the scenes on wine making and that never happened.

Beautiful view, good wine and even better sangria! Staff was polite. Entertainment was good. But please please do better pours. A sip of wine isnt good enough to really tell what it tastes like or if you like it. That was the only complaint in our bus full of 20 people. Be a little more generous with your pours.

Perfect first time wine tasting. The staff is super friendly and can make some great suggestions. The price was very reasonable and we had huge party of people. We came from San Diego and had their tour bus pick us up. Everything was on point

We saw this on our way from San Diego to Palm Springs and decided to make the 3 mile trip out of our way to check it out. SO glad we did!!! It seems that many wineries these days are creating sweeter and sweeter wines… but not Emerald Creek! They have yet to sell their soul to the devil, which pleases me SO much. We arrived to a beautiful winery atop a hill. The place itself must be relatively new as all of the finishes seem extremely updated, clean, and sleek. The tasting is a little steep at 6 tastings for $ 12, BUT that is easily rectified by checking-in on Unilocal. We got our tasting for half-off($ 6), which is definitely reasonable. They have 10+ wines to choose from, including multiple Cabernet Sauvignons, a Merlot, a Malbec, a Syrah, a Chardonnay, and many others. Like I alluded to before… many great dry wines to choose from! We tasted the Sauvignon Blanc(an award winning wine), a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Merlot, a Malbec, a Syrah, and the Excalibur(which is more like a rose). The woman who served us was extremely knowledgeable, bubbly, and personable. Make sure to ask her about the difference between the Cabernet Sauvignon from SOCAL vs the one from northern CA. Really interesting. We were able to take advantage of the Unilocal deal($ 30 for $ 15) so we bought the Sauvignon Blanc and the Syrah(our two favorites). A few other things… they are open relatively late for a winery(7PM). They frequently have live music. They also have quite the selection of food, including steak I believe. We didn’t try any food so I can’t comment on that. Finally, I have to mention that they have Sunday NFL Ticket!!! If only I lived here… it seems like a dream come true! Wine and football is the perfect combination. In sum, definitely a place you should check out!!!

Beautiful grounds! I found them on line looking at wine tours in temecula. They will pick you up and shuttle you into their winery:) The wine was excellent! I’m a huge pinot noir fan and their reds, merlot, malbec, and their cab was great! We Had dinner on the patio that over looked the vineyard and mountains. It was beautiful and the girls and I had fun!

This was a great place! The staff was very welcoming from placing the reservations to taking us back to our hotel! The wine was delicious as was the dinner. We were treated to a fantastic tour by Rao. He was generous with his knowledge and his grapes. This is a man who truly loves what he does. The view, Oh My Goodness, breathtaking! Rhonda’s smile is infectious and Aneo(sp?) is wonderful-you are making your dad proud. The bus drivers truly handle the roads and are so friendly. I was excited about the trip to a winery and of course wine tasting before we got there and this winery did not disappoint! Bravo!

I live in Temecula and I heard there was a new winery right by the awesome BBQ joint we’d been before so I went to check it out with my friends. The place is about 30 minutes from Temecula and we took a beautiful scenic drive on Hwy 79 south. The girl(I am sorry I forgot her name) was so nice and very personable and accommodating; she did everything she can to make us happy. We found a nice shady spot on the patio and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery, wine tasting and the food from the BBQ restaurant. Their wine was excellent. We didn’t try any of the sweet wine, but we tasted all the other whites and reds. They all were very enjoyable. The winery has teamed up with the wonderful restaurant across the street so we can order the food at the winery and they deliver to you. We had a salmon sandwich and 4 kinds of bratwurst: Pheasant, lamb, veal and Italian. My favorite was pheasant and Italian. The lamb was a little too strong for me. I will try all the other bratwursts on my next visit! The only thing I didn’t like was that the food was served in styrofoam«to go» containers with plastic utensils. It was visually disappointing and hard to cut the meat with plastic knife and fork. All in all, it was totally worth the drive. I will definitely be back!

It is the most beautiful place to visit. The tour there is amazing. We had the owner give us a personal tour, which at many wineries they don’t do. The wines were delish. Perfect place to go in a group or with your significant other to have a romantic evening. Will definitely go back. AND A BIGPLUS: They offer a shuttle from your hotel to the winery and back.

I was here yesterday with a big group. This place is amazing! They have a shuttle service from Temecula(emerald creek tours) which makes it convenient. We started with some tastings, followed by the winery tour, lunch, more tastings and live music to end the evening. The wine was excellent. The Excalibur was my favorite. The scenery from the tasting room is beautiful, especially in the evening when you experience the sunset… So relaxing & peaceful. The staff and owner were very nice & attentive. I highly recommend this place. We had a great time! Looking forward to our next visit.

This winery is awesome great wine, food, music and customer service. came in with a large group and we all had a great time. For the ladies I would really recommend their Muscat or Riesling wines, but honestly I enjoyed all wines I tasted. Definitely will return.

We had our wedding reception here. The place is beautiful. The reception hall was very nice, they make the wine and store it and sell it at a wine bar all in the same location which makes it fun. We had our reception on the covered patio. There was a nice breeze and the whole thing went great. Stephanie, the coordinator at Emerald Creek, was very responsive to all of our many questions. She was very attentive during the reception as well. The wine was excellent I had two glasses of their Riesling which was just the right amount of sweet and a tiny bit fizzy which I enjoyed. I was very busy so I did not get to sample all the wines but I heard the Malbec was great as well. We had the winery cater our reception. We went the inexpensive route but I expected a bit more. The chicken was ok but I heard people say the hamburger was dry. The potato salad was good. At this point I would suggest hiring an outside caterer but their catering option is new so maybe they will improve. This winery is about a 30 minute drive from Temecula or Anza. The grapes are about four years old I think and the winery just opened last year is Autumn of 2014. The place is very nice and you can see how it is going to keep improving and growing as a winery. Overall I would definitely recommend this winery. I recommend it most to anyone hosting any sort of event. Also, if you are a wine buff I think you will find this winery to be a unique experience. They were very excited to take us on their wine tour where they show the grapes and explain their process.

We decided to go a bit out of our way and were pleasantly surprised by this lovely winery! Lisa was super friendly and easygoing, and their new line of reds were delicious, especially the Malbec(we couldn’t help buying a bottle!) And it was actually nice getting off the beaten pat. Would highly recommend. Additional perk: Everything is beautifully new & the bathrooms smell of wood :)

As a disclaimer, I do work for this winery. But I have been involved the wine industry for some time now and am very passionate about wine. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the view from the patio is spectacular. Joe Dilullo is extremely knowledgeable about wine and is very pleasant. The tasting room personnel are very personable and helpful. But now the wine: Over the years I have gone back and forth between drinking mostly red and white wines, but now I love them both. As for the whites, I had always been a Chardonnay gal, then I started learning about and enjoying Sauvignon Blanc. This SB is the best I have ever tasted(not that I have traveled to New Zealand where they are known for the varietal, but I have tasted some really good and some nasty Savignon Blancs in my time). I also love the Rose. Pair it with some cheeses out on the patio on a hot afternoon — Muuwah! As for the red wines, they only had one Cab until recently when they released five new estate wines. My favorites are the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2013 Syrah, 2013 Cab Franc and the 2013 Malbec. I know this may seem biased, but I love most of these wines. I have been to tasting rooms in Temecula(and Northern California) where I detested almost every wine they poured, but maybe tolerated one or two. Not here. I like them all. Sometimes it is difficult to decide what I would like to drink. Come here if you love great wine, and stay here for the atmosphere and the beautiful view of the valley.

Drinks on the patio… What could be better?! Great time with Stephanie, tasting and picking wines to take home. Great place to sit and relax on a day of riding the fun back roads. We choose to take home the Chardonnay and the Merlot. Both from grape grown on the 55 acre estate. Really worth the stop.

Excellent winery! I am a tasting room manager for a Temecula winery and I must say that I was impressed by this place. Albeit small right now, this place will definitely take off! Currently strong in white wines, the Reds are soon on their way! The staff is extremely friendly! I met Lisa and Breana on a Friday. I will continue to recommend this place and look forward to tasting some of their reds. Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling were killer. I believe they do food as well, so check it out!!!
