The service at this restaurant is friendly and efficient, but it is counter service. There is a nice patio where you can sit outside in good weather. The pizza is always very good, and the pita bread that comes with the salad is soft and delicious. You may choose from a selection of beers as well.

I love this pizza. The only pizza I honestly like better is brick oven pizza but from an oven, this is awesome! Their specialty pies are great like the Joey, buffalo, or bbq chicken. Can never go wrong with meat lovers either. I well work the money too. The large is a legit LARGE. I always look forward to getting a Charlie Mac’s pizza!

You would not expect to find a pizza restaurant of this Quality in small town Warner NH. Always great pizza. Meat lovers, is awesome. Iv been a costumer since it opened. I live 65 miles away now but still make the drive when I want the best. keep up the great work.

I didn’t have much hope when we walked in… But the food was PHENOMENAL. I’d gladly drive 45 mins for this again.

Great pizza, great service. Best pizza in the area. We had margarita pizza and calzone. I would suggest eating the pizza there, because it’s thin.

Stopped on our way to Smugglers Notch. Super friendly, great pizza served in under 15 minutes. Quality local pizza place for in and out! Also a large and a small fed a family of 5 with one slice left.

Ingredients are good but they do not use a real pizza oven to cook it(It is luke warm, even straight out of the oven). It also appears they use a pre-fab crust. Some of the customers look like Larry, Daryl and Daryl…

Coming from New Jersey there have been many visits to disappointing pizza places. This is not one of them. The sauce is good, balance of cheese is nice and overall its a great slice. I would definitely recommend the BBQ chicken pizza, and my new favorite combo the kalamata olive and mushroom. I also love their calzones and their grilled chicken ceasar salad is great for warm summer days when you need a quick lunch.

Atmosphere was sort of grungy. No table service — you order at the counter. But the pizza was very good — thin tender-chewy crust — not cracker thin, just-right thin. I actually wanted to eat the edges which isn’t always the case. The red sauce had the right balance of flavor, salt, tang and not too sweet. We ordered pepperoni, kalamatas, fresh mozzarella and fresh mushrooms. The medium looked large when it came out and we ate all of it. There is a large choice of toppings that can be ordered on the pizza or in a calzone.

Great pizza and pretty good prices too. We are visiting NH from Southern California where there is a pizza place on every corner. I’m not sure if this is my favorite pizza of all time but it was really good. We got the pesto with artichokes and the kids got cheese and pepperoni, everyone was happy.

Best pizza Ive ever had(including when in Italy). Great service, good prices, and SOMUCH food for what you pay. I would commute the hour there at least every couple months just to get this great pizza.

We came here visiting the Mt. Kearsage Indian museum. Talk about the middle of nowhere. This must be the only pizza place in the little town of Warner, NH. I wanted a sub, they don’t have subs. What the heck kind of pizza place doesn’t have subs? My only other option was a salad that I got with buffalo chicken, the salad was good, but the pizza my party split looked greasy as any I’ve ever seen and had barely any toppings. Skip it.

We live locally, and Charlie Mac’s is our once-a-week stop for take-home dinner. There are two other pizza places closer to us, but we choose Charlie Mac’s. The pizzas are HUGE; and salads are large and fresh. The 8 very large slices are good for dinner that night, and lunch the next day; and I often split the salads, too. The location is clean, cozy, and very family friendly(no alcohol is served); the people are friendly and know their customers. There are 2 TVs to keep up with Sunday sports; and a deck for fair weather eating. This is no fancy, wait-on-you place. But it is clean and yummy — well worth the mile off interstate 89 pit stop.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on a trip from Boston to Vermont, and actually found it thanks to the Unilocal app on my iPhone. We were very satisfied, the pizza lived up to the other Unilocal reviews. Only weird thing is that extra salad dressing will cost you .55 cents. That’s my only complaint but obviously it’s quite minor.

The Gist: The best pizza, service, and atmosphere I’ve had in central NH. The Place: It’s a cute little place, very clean, well-kept, and family-friendly. The Location: Off 89 in Warner. If you’re northbound, take exit 8 or 9; if you’re southbound, take 9(there is no 8). From both exits, go into town. They’re right on Main St., and they have a sign out front. The People: They’re great. Just good NH folks. The Product: I’ve had their pizza(cheese, peperoni, and the«espresso» — chicken onions, peppers, and ricotta) and the«Joey» calzone. All are well above average. Nothing’s greasy, but everything’s flavorful. One Caveat: This is a small-town pizzeria, so beware their hours. They’re not open real late, and they have reduced hours in the winter. Call first. But when you can, eat at Charlie Mac’s!

While working in the area, I headed into downtown Warner for some lunch. The Foot Hills looked busy, so I decided to stop at Charlie Macs Pizzeria, which is tucked away and located next door to The Foot Hills. Charlie Macs is usually open 6 days a week(closed Tuesdays), but currently their winter hours are limited to being open 4 days a week(Thurs-Sun). This casual pizzeria(dine-in or carryout) has a clean and rustic atmosphere with stone walls and wood beams. It’s order at the counter with self serve table seating and 2 flatscreen TVs to watch CNN. Your food is brought out to your table when ready. The menu offerings include traditional, classic and Charlie Macs Creation pizzas & subs, calzones, salads, wings, breadsticks, Lays chips, and Pepsi products(from the cooler and self serve fountain drinks). Some of the special pizzas sounded interesting including Mac Pizza(roma tomatoes, marinated chicken, caramelized onions, & ricotta cheese) and Popeye(white sauce, spinach, feta cheese, caramelized onions, & ricotta cheese). The dough is made fresh daily. . I decided on a regular 10″ Buffalo Chicken Sub($ 5.99) and a Slice of Cheese Pizza($ 2.09). I got a nice surprise of 20 percent off the total since Charlie Macs is offering this discount off all food on Thursdays in January(2010). The big slice of cheese pizza was almost like having NY style thin crust pizza(folding the crust) except the crust/dough was moister and soft & thick along the edge. The sauce had a nice flavor and the cheese was browned on top. The pizza was so good that I was very tempted to order another slice, but I still had a 10″ sub. The Buffalo Chicken Sub was very spicy tasting, which had boneless tender chicken with bufalo sauce, crumbled bleu cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and bleu cheese dressing on a toasted sub roll, Overall, I really enjoyed my lunch, especially the pizza, which is the best I’ve had in this area(outside of Concord), exceeding my expectations in this small town.
