This place is always clean and the machines don’t look abused. They offer same day wash and fold for people who need someone else to wash their clothes. They have two 8 load washers which you don’t see very often. The prices are about a dollar now than most laundromats. Also is not the biggest place, so either go later in the day or real early in the morning.

Of course this place has washers and dryers and a wash-and-fold service like any other laundromat, but it is so unlike all the others it seems to need a category of its own. Big Bundle has lots of rules, signs everywhere telling you what to do, and not. I like that in a laundromat! One of the owners and/or staff-like-family is always present, keeping a watchful eye and maintaining the cleanliness, organization and serenity of the place. It is by far the cleanest laundromat I’ve ever encountered. It you’re a quiet type and visit the laundromat alone or with just a SO or a composed child, you’ll love it here. If you’re of the«it takes a(extended) family to wash the underwear» persuasion, you’ll likely feel it’s not for you. Big Bundle has no arcade games, no wide expanses(nor tolerance) for kids running and playing smash-the-carts. They also have relatively limited hours, and few places to sit while you wait. And their machines are, I think, just a tad bit more costly than other places. They generate their own solar power, and use it as available to heat washer water. And they facilitate recycling of plastic detergent bottles. There is free wi-fi, and the place is usually quiet enough to get some work(or homework!) done. Among their machines are a couple of giant dryers, great for sleeping bags, comforters, loads of blankets and towels or just a large load of clothes. I first met Big Bundle while searching for a non-chaotic location to dry blankets on my way from(Midtown) work back up to the Beaumont Troy ICU. I’d washed them at home overnight, but hadn’t had time to dry and did not want to take too much time away from after-work visiting hours. Big Bundle was only slightly out of my way, but proved worth it and then some.(Yes, hospital ICUs do give their patients blankets, but not comfy, cuddly, comforting ones. For very ill, fragile, physically miserable patients, little family-provided things matter!) Big Bundle also offers wash-and-fold service. I’ve never used it, but if their cleanliness, overall fastidiousness and attention-to-detail in other respects are any indication, it’s probably perfect. What else makes Big Bundle unique? You’ll encounter delightful, artistic chalkboard art informing of current specials or other news. And yoga! After their 8pm closing each Sunday, all-around laundromat guy and and yoga teacher Fred runs a free intro class. Or a by-donation continuing one, if that what works better for you. And you don’t even have to be a laundromat customer to play.
