Appointment scheduled quickly. Installed deadbolt and updated keyed locks to being more secure. I had no idea that fewer cuts in a key meant easier to break into. Appreciated the suggestion and took the advice.

I got robbed in Detroit and my keys were stolen. I called a different locksmith first named Lock Out locksmith who barely spoke english and acted offended that I called. He promised he was on his way but never showed up so I called Bright Lock and Key who actually spoke to me with courtesy and sympathy. Rich showed up exactly when he said he would and quickly cut me a new key and explained how to prevent this situation ever happening again. Including giving me the information necessary to avoid having to call an emergency locksmith again. He was friendly and professional and even offered extra help. If you need a locksmith then go through this company. He knows his area of expertise better than any other locksmith I have hired. This is the only trustworthy and honest locksmith in metro Detroit. Easy 5 stars. I would give 6 if I could.
