Me and my boyfriend love this place! Can’t beat 2 dollar bud lights 22 oz I think! The wings are really delicious and they are only .25 cents! Also, the sandwiches come with fries that have that awesome batter on them. My favorite kind of fries

Wings are cheap and yummy! The staff treats like you are family. The drinks are really a good price. It is a little dark for lighting but it is a bar. This is a real good neighborhood bar.

I liked it they had 2 dollar tall bud and bud light 25 cent wings and our waitress Michelle was really sweet. They also have 2 pool tables and a dart board though the darts were kinda crummy other than that everything was way better than I thought it would be. Great place to go before or after the movies right next door.

Saw that this place was advertising 25 cent wings(Monday through Friday, 11 – 7) so my fiancée and I stopped by to give it a try. First impressions: parking lot is small and was completely full at 5pm. Walking in, the main room is very dark. That’s kind of expected for a bar so no points deducted. We chose to sit in the pool room toward the back which had some windows and was nice and bright. The waitress told us there were no ducts in the back room, so it was freezing cold. Our waitress seemed confused by our order, even though it was pretty basic. I ordered 20 wings, and my fiancée ordered fries and cheesesticks with ranch. Food came out quickly enough. The french fries seemed homemade. They were nice and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The cheesesticks were average, nothing special. The ranch was homemade. And last but not least, the chicken wings. The wings are slightly smaller than the ones you might find at other locals bars. They are definitely worth 25 cents a piece though. Mine were cooked perfectly(unlike another Unilocaler reviewed). They were nice and juicy, with cripsy burnt edges. I asked about how they were prepared, and the waitress told me not only deep fry them, but once they take them out they throw them on the grill for a second. This extra effort added a different texture in the wings that makes them stand out in a good way. The wings aren’t very saucy, so I asked for a side of the buffalo sauce. The sauce is homemade, and tastes different then your typical cheap bar wings. It seems like they put effort into actually creating a sauce. It’s thicker, and reminded me of a Buffalo Wild Wings sauce. I had 20 wings, but could eat another 10 and be very full. I’m surprised that Bugsy’s doesn’t have more good reviews on here. Everything was great during out visit, and I plan on returning often.

Best wings around. Relaxed atmosphere good drink specials. Larry the owner is a good guy who has done a ton of work to the place. It’s nice and clean and freshly redone. Parking is easy and the crowd is fun. I like this place for some beers and some wings and I’m always happy.

My friend, my girl and I stopped in here after the Huey Lewis show for a quick night cap. Bugsy’s is up the road from my buddy’s place so he’s been in a few times but it was our first time. It was a pretty slow night with maybe ten people in the place that seemed to be having a pretty good time. There are probably 8 low-tops and 4 high-top island tables to compliment the bar seating and the game room area. The bar itself is raised from the actual bar so it’s kind of like On the Rocks in Madison Heights but a little smaller. They have a juke box and a couple pool tables and maybe a dart board. It’s an unassuming enough place but the regulars were really friendly to the point that they made an effort to come over and ask if we were new to the bar and bought my concert companions both shots and me a Red Bull since I was DD. We ordered some potato skins and a basket of fries which were fairly standard bar eats with friendly service to go along with the order. I liked this place and I think it’ll be my new go-to for the Dequindre corridor… I’m just curious what their busy nights are like.

I feel kind of bad for giving two stars to a place I was invited to by a buddy who is a regular there, BUT Unilocal Truth comes before all, wouldn’t you agree? I would probably give it a 2.5 stars just for the karaōke hostess and the bartenders who were working there that night. They were cute and friendly, and gave out a good vibe. The place itself is a long rectangle shape with a bar, tables, high tables and even a dance floor. There’s a pool table or two at the far end with some darts, too, I think. The sound was good on the karaōke, and people(seemed like mostly regulars) would get up and do kooky dances and stuff. Pretty fun. Didn’t feel dangerous. I would go back just for the karaōke energy, but I wasn’t blown away by the place.

My favorite watering hole besides Paul Revere’s in East Lansing during the college days. They’ve made a lot of updates recently and the place is looking great. But it’s still a local dive, and that’s why I love it. I love my Friday night bartenders Tammy and Jess. They have food, but to me it’s secondary. People come here to drink. It’s a somewhat gruff crowd, I’d say mostly older biker or blue collar type dudes. All really nice people though. But who am I kidding, by the time I leave I probably wouldn’t be able to tell you the next day who was actually there.

Stopped by again for their chicken wing special and was very disappointed. The chicken clearly wasn’t cooked thoroughly. When we brought it to our server’s attention she acted very annoyed and claimed that a lot of people think they look undercooked when they’re really not. I’m sorry, but I know when I’m biting into raw chicken. So she threw the rest of the chicken wings out and charged us for all of them! They were only $.25 each so I paid but vowed never to return. Not even for their salads.
