Although the location can be hard to find, tucked off of Camden road in the middle of farm country, Curtis’s friendly and knowledgeable staff and incredible meat makes the excursion well-worth it. Their meat is happy and free-range when it’s alive, and you can really taste the difference. When we go, we bring coolers so that we can stock up for the whole year to come. Even after being frozen for months, their steaks cook into slabs of buttery meat that literally melts on the tongue. Happy cows make happy meat, which makes happy meat-eaters… Curtis’s makes the world a happier(and tastier) place.

While I have not dealt with the company in person, I have bought their bacon through a reseller in Maine. Tastes great! It is nice to eat some bacon that you don’t wonder about… just what DO the major companies pump into their bacon?
