Farmstead Mercantile

I’ve driven by here so many times without stopping. I am on a hunt for a wooden scarecrow decoration and I finally stopped in. They didn’t have what I was looking for, but it was a pleasant surprise.
If you check in on Unilocal,you will get a coupon for 50% off a candle. I don’t think many people take advantage of this as the cashier hadn’t heard of it. The main floor is all new items and is attractively merchandised. Most of the offering are «primitive». While some things will fit into my home décor, most don’t. Prices do tend towards the high side, but I find that with all stores that sell mostly primitive items. I think it is just the nature of the beast.
The upstairs is a small gallery of local artists. There was a beautiful dining room table when I was there. You’ll will also find a lot of vintage items and antiques upstairs.
While most things here aren’t my style, I did pick up a gift someone and intend to stop by again.

Great place to buy a cute, quaint gifts for just about anyone. Lots of local type items too! A must see and interesting place to go check out!
