Cheap drinks, which you really can’t complain anout, but my main problem was the service. The waitress barely came over, and when she did, she forgot half of what we asked. I am still waiting on an order of fries. We found that in order to get what we wanted, we just had to go up to the bar. If you are looking for some drunk karaōke and cheap drinks, you would probably enjoy a Friday night here.

Beer was good. We’re doing trivia night in a Tuesday. Food was less than good and was slow service. Some food was cold too. Grilled chicken had no grill marks. Did I say the beer was good.

Wandered over here as I’m staying at the hotel next door and didn’t want to eat at the hotel. It’s a fairly typical bar and grill, though this Tuesday night happened to feature trivia as well, including a host who couldn’t pronounce ‘dengue fever’. Yay! I ordered a small Traverse City Salad and some Jalapeño Poppers. Traverse City Salad — Basic lettuce, dried cherries, blue cheese, added chicken, pecans, and really sweet dressing on the side that may have been strawberry vinaigrette. I obviously didn’t read too closely. There was a generous amount of dried cherries and TONS of blue cheese, and the amount of chicken was satisfactory. The cherries tasted more like craisins than anything else. Barely any pecans on the salad. Overall, decent though. Jalapeño poppers — It’s hard to mess up poppers. Luckily, they didn’t. The appetizer order comes with 6 poppers, and I got 3 cream cheese and 3 cheddar. No complaints here. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Nothing special overall, but certainly nothing bad.

Great service! Great food! Victoria was our waitress and she was training a new person Olivia. They were so much fun and made our experience very pleasant. My party ordered various things from the menu and everything we ate was cooked well, well seasoned and just good. I’m an out of towner and I look forward to coming back.

Great service. Food was solid. Beer selection is better than average. Staff was friendly and definitely on top of their game. Great spot to stop at if you’re local.

My last choice for bars around here. Food is bad but you wouldn’t want to eat because then you might have to use the bathroom and that’s just not a good idea. It’s OK to grab a quick beer it will make the next bar you go to seem that much better

This place is a great bar to kick back and hang out but the food is hit or miss. I have had some great meals and I have had some send back worthy meals. But I must say the pizza is good and the waitresses are good looking. Great scenery.

Although this Bar and Grille is located within walking distance, I dont often visit this spot. I dunno its just hit or miss, ive had a few good lunches here and a few bad lunches too. Ive had good service and bad service. I don’t recommend it as a practical place for lunch or dinner cuz it is so hit or miss. its jus a casual chill little local watering hole with a decent enough menu. They have darts and pool, keno etc so its got some perks if ur in to drinking n playing games etc…

The service was mediocre, like the food. Not really impressed with anything about this place.

What an incredible experience we had at this restaurant today. Went there for a group lunch with my coworkers. We numbered about 40. This was for a lunch at 11 am. This size group was arranged in a phone call earlier in the week, so they should be prepared to handle a group that size. Well they were completely unprepared. Had only two waitresses asssigned to the group, and they were still waiting on other tables. The drinks came out quickly so no trouble there. It was the excruciating wait for food that was the problem. I think the first 2 meals out of 40 came out about an hour and twenty minutes after we ordered. The last meal rolled out finally about 2 hours later. And the real kicker was that most of the food was not anything to rave about and most tho us were cold. Never once did a manager come over and apologize for the long wait time, but the waitress we had did apologize multiple times. Simple things could have been done to make things better. So thanks for the incredible time we had today because it will be the last time for all forty of us. How bout rolling out some chips and salsa and maybe comping the sodas. What a complete joke and the whole time whoever was in charge just stayed in hiding the whole time. Funniest part was that on the way out their electronic sign said«now hiring experienced cooks» should have been a tip off. Just wished we would have seen that on the way in.

A friend decided to treat me to some food a few beers after the gym. Being the buff dude that I am, I had to decline on the beers but accept the food(these muscles need fuel). He said he knew the owner of the place, so I said, why not? Free food, I dont give 2 sh*ts whether he knew the owner or not. Here’s the lowdown, + and — style. + Nice layout, with several tables, booths, a dance floor, and a fireplace. + Lots of TVs. + Nice owner. Totally chill dude, I think his name was Art. + Pretty decent food actually! I was quite surprised. They had a big menu and clearly stated what was in each dish, with straight-forward names(no fluff here). + ICE-COLD beer. I didn’t have any though. + Nice staff. — Where’s the hot waitresses with the low-cut tops that I can oogle at? Jk. Or am I? I am. Or am I… — No mojitos? That’s a manly man’s favorite drink! Made me sad. Went here on a monday so it was kind of dead. They didn’t have mojitos, but offered to make me something like it(It was nasty, but kudos for being accommodating!) All in all, take it for what it is. A bar. A hangout place. Not too loud, which I dig. Not to pretentious, which I love. I heard they also have events like foosball or dart tournaments sometimes. That’s cool with me. One of the waitresses also offered me cake, since it was her birthday. Thanks, but are you TRYING To ruin my abs?

Went here because I was staying at the hotel next door. The wings were very good and I really liked the Thai sauce. There was a good selection of drafts too. The service was less than top notch. The place is packed with golden tee, darts, pool tables, etc. I will say it was more of a bar scene than a family eatery. Loud music by a band(though they said they sometimes have a DJ) and great people watching. The food was really good, but the overall experience wasn’t great. If your looking for a dive bar, you’ll get what your after. You can enjoy some bar grub and you can wear anything here. Sidebar: the restroom was clean, which was surprising in this place.

In town for business and place is right down the road. Pretty cheap place with a nice bar setting. I had the wings and they were delicious. Had two types the garlic parm and mild buffalo. The garlic parm was some of the best wings I’ve had.

Wait staff is fast and friendly. Drink prices are decent. However, they need a new DJ on Saturday’s. He doesn’t play to the crowd and gives an attitude when you request a song.

I went there 1 time and I will NEVER come back, I just moved to Michigan and I don’t have a michigan ID yet, so they wouldn’t serve me, like seriously bitch if you think it’s fake then just scan it. If you want a decent bar try going to royal oak

Eh, it’s a. Good place for lunch or dinner but night time weekends are not that classy to say the least. They had a punching machine that my friends and I loved to play as a drinking game(honestly it was the only reason we went to limelight) now they replaced it with 4 foosball machines… Who plays foosball that much? Let alone on multiple tables. When I did go to eat, I enjoyed the fish basket or personal pizza.

Seems like it has been forever that the Lime Light Bar and Grill has been on our radar. We have heard it is a good time, and let me tell you it was! When we showed up we were enjoying $ 12 buckets of Bud Light, watching baseball, listening to karaōke, and enjoying the crowd to include the whole neighborhood we just left from! This place has a big patio but it was a touch to cool to enjoy it on this night. That’s ok because the singing was fun. The DJ kept things interesting by working the tunes to get the crowd out on the floor. The atmosphere was already hopping so we had to rush to get in a bite to eat. The burgers picked were the Bacon and Egg and the Lime Light, both for $ 8.99. Bacon and Egg came with Of course bacon and an egg, Cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and a pickle. Burger– 3 Price– 3 Service– 2.5 Overall– 2.75 The Lime Light was a classic double bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Burger– 2 reportedly very dry and instead of medium it was clearly well, even in the dim lit room Price– 2 Service– 2 Overall– 2.5 Service could have been better. Given the size of the group at our table it seems nothing was to fast. Once the mood started lifting with the music here, it was a fun time. If you like loud karaōke with some dancing, this might be your place!

Honestly, the only reason I go there is for the prices. Everyone who goes there is like 20 – 25 years older than me and the people I’m with. The music is usually pretty horrible, as are the DJ’s. There is one pool table in an awkward spot as well, and the«dance floor» is between two sides of tall tables where everyone watched you try to get your freak on. Yeah… But what I like is that the place doesn’t try to be something it’s not. That’s respectable.

The Limelight Bar and Grill does nothing well except for being really dirty. The waitresses are scantily-clad and relatively unattractive. The crowd is also a bit sketchy and a co-worker once had her computer stolen from the restaurant during a happy hour work party. The food itself isn’t terrible. Standard bar fare that is reasonable price and served relatively quickly. It won’t turn you stomach like most places, but the cottage cheese on the servers might. Beer is always cheap and almost free during happy hour. So if you are a raging alcoholic and just need a cesspool to down pints of light beer this is your place. Just make sure to call a cab on your way home because if you walk you will probably get shanked or abducted by one of the locals.
