Horrible mess up on a shower, ordered a 32×32, they gave me a 36×36. Plumber was at my house to install and noticed the error, he had to charge me for the missed time, plus my time to get the old shower and return it to get the right one. The GM said he was sorry. Sorry doesn’t cut it. Shame on Menards if the only empowerment they give their employees is to apologize. A parrot can be taught to do that. I will never shop at a Menards store again. You had the chance to make this error right and blew it. Have you never heard of an in store credit or a gift certificate? I guess not, that would fall under good Customer Service.

I have always been a fan of Menard’s further north of me because of their VERY REASONABLE prices (on ALMOST everything). But with the cost of gas, it wasn’t really efficient to be visiting that location. So when Menard’s offered a location close to where I am, naturally I will be coming here!
