Everything here is fantastic from soups, to salads to the sandwiches! I highly recommend

Food is mediocre. For a fast chipotle style kitchen, the prices could’ve been better. The marinara sauce is a bit watery.

Had the Philly and it was quite good. It isn’t the best meatball I ever had but it is definitely well made and everything is made with good ingredients. My girlfriend had the Apocalypse of the month, a BLT meatball sandwich, which was very good. In the future we will just split one, definitely shareable. Love the idea of making a sandwich a slider. It is worth going to and we will be going back.

This was just awful. I would never recommend this to anyone with taste buds. The meatballs weren’t that great but cheap. I still don’t understand why you’d put meatballs on a salad. The place looks cute but that’s the only positive thing I have to say. I wouldn’t eat here again.

This place is located an a cozy little neighborhood in warren tucked away a B location at best. I drive past it all the time. Today I decide To go inside today and see what they are about. I had a half a classic beef meatball sandwich on Asiago bread and paired it with there house made minestrone soup. The soup was great they use spaghetti noodles not what I’m used to but it was great actually. And as for the sandwiches so if it was on point the bread was great to meet all is fantastic and the sauce is perfect there’s hints of fennel in the meatball which I really like almost like a sausage, almost like a meatloaf. Needless to say I grabbed 12 meatballs to go and the kids and I had meatball subs for dinner

This place is literally across the street from my house and I was super excited when it opened up in the strip mall BUT the food is just not good. Inside the restaurant is super cute, the menu is clear and the prices are decent but my meatballs were actually gross and I guess I’ve discovered that balls just aren’t good on everything! You can be a meatball place without putting meatballs on every item. Not my cup of tea.

Very good meatballs! I liked all the different ways you can get them. The restaurant was very cute too! The mac & cheese & the sautéed spinach was good too. The woman that waited on us was very helpful & explained everything. There was only one thing I didn’t care, which for was the pork meatballs, but that’s my opinion.

This place is amazing! I found out about it through groupon. It’s Italian for cheap but it’s so worth it. The quality of the food is outstanding. The staff is so friendly. The décor is very modern which I love. The food comes out pretty quick. Happy I bought the groupon but I would go again even without the groupon deal!

Been in here many times for lunch. Always satisfactory, not great. Tonight stopped in for dinner. I ordered the Philly sub, which I have had before, I bit into it and the meat balls and they were not fully cooked. Went up to the counter to say say it was underdone. I was surprised at the quick hostile response I got. I was fed a line about how they are cooked to an internal temp of 160 degrees and that is fully cooked. Was told because they grind their own meat and only use 4 percent fat that they would always be red in the middle no matter how long they were cooked. Come on… I have eaten many meatballs in my life, I do not want to see raw meat ! Geez. After the lecture I was not offered a remake. I got a refund and needless to say I will not be going back. Not just because of the food but because of the bad customer service.

We found a groupon for this location, and decided to give it a try. We were extremely overly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. The location was near and clean, and we ordered the carbonara and Tuscan pasta dishes, and they were amazingly good! The portions, although seemingly small, were hardy, and robust, and we left extremely full. The biggest complaint is that we were underwhelmed by the actual seating/dinning area. Although tidy and tasteful, we thought it would be a sit-down restaurant, but it was more of a diner or café line. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re a meatball fan, and looking for a decently priced and delicious meal!

Vegetarian meatballs!!! What a strange location in a boring area for a cool place like this. The food is good. Not incredible but tasty and filling. You can get sandwiches, salad and pasta with meatballs. It’s like quiznos style ordering.

Went here because of a Groupon and the Reviews and The staff was nice and friendly, however, I ordered a carry-out and when I got home the meatballs were Not fully cooked, I reheated the in microwave but it took away from the taste! Maybe next time I’ll ask for well done because the food looked good and was seasoned good

Ordered the classic with two beef and two pork meatballs. No provolone, just parmesan. My expectations were high because they specialize in meatballs. While I was eating it, I couldn’t help but to wonder if the good people of Warren actually know what a good meatball tastes like. The flavor was minimal. The meatballs are spiced up with hot pepper. This stimulates the tastebuds, but unfortunately, the meatballs could not hold up to the spice. All I tastes was spice, which was not that good either. The average person can make a better meatball at home using a recipe off of the internet. If you call yourself a meatball restaurant, then your meatballs should be outstanding. They were just okay, not great. Will not be returning. Great concept though. Thank god I didn’t get one of their cannolis

10 out of 10. Would meatball again. You should meatball too. Check in for a free dessert via Unilocal or grab a Groupon.

Had both pork & beef meatball, was ok. Doubt I will be back. Pasta carbonara was essentially a fetuccini-cheesy sauce so no raw egg, so not truly Italian. Was hoping for better food. It was not bad but not special enough to venture out for — better made at home. Their take out box is not spill-proof, it’s just a piece of cardboard with open ends to slide your paper tray into. Maybe this will change, or it should. Strange experience, new girl at cashier said to pay after we pick up our order. Doesn’t make sense to do that. Should just pay and be done with it. Ample parking.

Excellent food quality and very reasonable prices. They would be categorized as fast/casual but the quality of ingredients is better than most sit down restaurants. They have great monthly specials printed by the registers. Order on the far side and pay by the door. My favorite sandwich is the Classic on Smashed, the flatbread is perfect as are the different flavors(love the pesto). Also the make your own pasta, a lot of toppings to choose from. Usually takes about 5 minutes or less so an easy lunch option for locals.

It’s the real deal. This place serves up some really tasty meatballs using the freshest ingredients. You can have your meatballs in a sandwich or in pasta. I went with the beef in a red sauce and pasta, then paired that with a side salad. The menu is simple, which for a place that serves meatballs, it’s perfect.

The food was ok. I like the way it is set up. You go order the n pay then sit down and wait. But when my husband had his pasta before my meatball sandwich and I waited and waited. My husband finished then waited more… the owner was a sweetheart and I will give this place a second chance and the free check in offer for the fried doughnuts was yummy. Its a small businesses trying I can’t bash them but they have room to improve in my eyes.

Immaculately clean and bright establishment. Large and easy to read menu. Fast and easy ordering process. I kept it simple, ordering the basic meatball sub and the mac and cheese. The meatballs had the perfect texture and were very moist and full of flavor. Just the right amount of pesto and tomato sauce as well as cheese. Each stood out but didn’t overpower each other and none made the bread soggy. It was light and toasty but strong enough to support a rather large 4 meatball sub. I thought the mac and cheese was superb. Very cheesy and the crunchy topping was a bonus. the value was tremendous for the quantity and quality of the food. I hope this place sticks around and thrives. I shall return

I don’t like meatballs. I’ve never liked meatballs. In fact, I make it a point to avoid ground meats entirely, unless I’ve done the grinding myself. I just don’t trust it. So I was less than thrilled when my boss announced our staff would be eating at MCMK for his birthday. But being a loyal team member, I went along for the ride. And my mind. was. blown. MCMK has some of the moistest, most flavorful meatballs I’ve ever had, prepared daily from meat they grind themselves in-house. They have a well rounded menu of classics(meatball sub) and innovative twists(Mac & cheese meatballs, anyone?) as well as a create-your-own menu that provides for about 10,000 combinations. So good, they completely won me over to the meatball cause. Everything is fresh, the staff is warm and conversational, and the atmosphere is modern without being family unfriendly. I dragged my husband(also not a meatball fan) back that same night and he too, fell in love. We’ve been back at least 4 times in the past month. The only critique I can offer is that they use kalamata olives, which can add an overpowering level of salt to the create your own entrée. I personally would suggest they switch to a more traditional black olive; or offer patrons their choice between the two. Other than that very minor bit of feedback, MCMK is near perfect and I strongly encourage you to check them out ASAP.

I was looking forward to trying this place, and even went out of my way to get there, but I was left completely underwhelmed. The space is nice and clean, and the menu is very clear about how to order and what you get, so that’s nice. The prices are fair, running anywhere from $ 6.50-$ 9 per person without sides or drinks. The food just wasn’t that good. I expected much more flavor and quality. And if you’re not a fan of onions then you’ll hate this place, as there are onions not only in the pasta sauce that comes on most dishes, but also featured in the meatballs. I will say the meatball was tasty but seemed full of filler and not enough meat. The sauce was bland and there was hardly any fresh mozzarella in my dish. Also, I saw mac n cheese on the menu for $ 4. Restaurant mac can be kind of hit-or-miss, so I asked the cashier if I could try a small sample before ordering. Her reply«Oh, I don’t know if we do that…» and made no attempt to ask anyone, even though we were literally the only patrons in the place. I’ve worked in food service… if someone asks for a sample, you give them a sample because you want to sell the stuff! I was disappointed. It seems like a neat idea, but the flavors just didn’t add up, and the service left something to be desired.

Holy Meatballs Batman!!! A co-worker found this place and a few of us went for lunch. Best lunch I’ve had in a long, long time! I decided since it was my first visit. I’d go with the Classic Sandwich«smashed», with chips and a drink. I don’t know why they even bother with the chips! I didn’t even open my bag. The sandwich was fresh, tasty, hot, and full of flavor! Let’s start with the bread! Since I got mine«smashed«it came on flat bread. It was soft and warm. Inside the bread was presto and marinara sauce, 4 good size meatballs with melted, gooey provolone. Meatballs were the perfect size, moist(not greasy), and tasted homemade! The sandwich was more than enough to fill me up at lunch. Like I said, I didn’t even bother with the chips. With chips and a drink, my total was $ 10. Only a buck more than what I usually spend at Jimmy Johns, but a billion times better! The place is clean and bright. Service was very friendly and food came out very fast, making it perfect for lunch. I can’t wait to go back and try the chicken or pork meatballs with different sauce!

My wife and I were so happy to see this business take over the old Taco place in this shopping center. We were looking for somewhere to eat today so we chose this place. First impression — it looks like a major improvement over the last business. We went to the counter to order… obviously, being first time customers we were trying to get our«stuff» together. The girl at the register knew less about the menu than we did. It took us an extraordinary amount of time to make our order. The girl kept repeating the same things over and over. By the time we were done, we knew more than her about the menu. When we checked out, they originally only gave us one drink instead of the two that we ordered… duh. The food? The food? Yuk. Let’s start with the obvious — the meatball. I had a regular beef meatball… well, almost beef — that is if you can get past the filler. It was pure mush and not very tasty. I had pasta… I couldn’t tell if the sauce was out of a can, a box or homemade. It just tasted like tons of tomatoes with tons of garlic — there were HUNKS of garlic in my pasta. YUCK!!! I also had the minestone soup. Not so great. This tasted like bean soup with a bunch of vegetables thrown in. I guess if you like bean soup it’s pretty decent. My wife’s soup was supposed to have garbanzo beans in it. When she asked our waitress — well first off the waitress called them GONZO beans LOL!!! Let me tell you, she wasnt a young girl either… she was an older lady who should at least read the word a few times… GONZOBEANS? LOL!!! Sesame Street here we come. The cool thing was — they had no «Gonzo» beans. They were all out. Amazing. Open how many days and no Gonzo beans? Isn’t the grocery store open or the market right down the street? This place has a WHOLELOTOFWORK to do before they’ll even be decent. At this point it looks like another failed business is occupying this same building. Antonio’s diner is in the same shopping strip and I’m SURE their spaghetti is better as well as their meatballs. Such a shame. I can’t think of much good about this place other than the visual appearance inside, which is improved.

In the words of Adam Sandler from«The Wedding Singer», that’s a good meatball! Seriously, this place is solid. We went there on their soft opening to try it out and everything was great. I had the Grinder which was a Pork Meatball Sandwich with Tomato Sauce, Melted Provolone, and Caramelized onions on an Asiago Cheese Hoagie bun. So simple, yet money! I also had a side of Macaroni and Cheese which was pretty good as well. The wifey had the Greek sandwich on the same style bun, but this one had Chicken Meatballs, Feta Cheese, Kalamata Olives, Lettuce, Tomato, and Tzatziki Crema. Chicken Meatballs often times are very dry as chicken is a lean protein with very little fat to keep it moist. These however were not. They were super juicy, flavorful, and very tender yet firm at the same time(not mushy). I think their secret weapon is that they grind their own meat in house using the best ingredients possible and make their meatballs daily. None of that frozen processed garbage other places serve up. Handmade and homemade, that’s the way to go in my book. The staff was very friendly and I had a chance to talk to the owner and she was telling me all about the place. While it wasn’t very busy, as I am assuming not many knew the place had opened, she still opted to have a full on conversation with me instead of just the standard short and sweet«How was everything? Okay, good!» jib jab you get elsewhere. She really wanted feedback and to know what I liked and tips to improve things. She also asked if I had visited the location when it was Tajos and if I had an idea why it didn’t succeed. That to me shows passion and a dedication to do well. I wish them all of the best and while I may not eat there as often as I’d like(I’m trying not to be so much of a fatty these days) I will go there when I allow myself a cheat day every now and then.
