How in the Heck can a pizza place go from 5 stars to 1 star well let me tell you I went out of my way to go to this place because I am on the far west side of Detroit Because this place was as old school as it get when it came to a good round pizza with real ingredients not that fake mess but low and be hold first let me start with the cheese low grade might be fake also this small pepperoni is a little different not the same you should have seen the pre cook mess they call hamburger mess did not even taste like ground beef it was a soy base product this owner just mess up a good pizza being a cheap butt keep the dam pizza the same i would have paid more for a good pizza not some bull mess but thanks anyway I just wont be back make no since to be that greedy make more money using cheap stuff

Used to be a regular here when I lived on the East side. Since I’m over there infrequently, I don’t get it as often as I’d like. I love supporting local mom and pop non-chain pizza joints and this is a deserving one. Sterling did a great review on this spot and the pizza taste. As said, crust is old school with a chewy bite. Some may not respond to it. Bottom line, I’ve remained a supporter due to their use of those wonderful spicy little pepperonis that curl. Enough said. Greasy cups of pizza happiness. Crust and cheese and sauce solid.

I really like this pizza because of the high quality cheese(creamy taste, like premium mozzarella) and the crust.(chewy, but light) The only other pizzeria in the Detroit area that I have had high quality cheese is Loui’s. The only drawbacks to Nono’s are– carryout service only, and the square pizza was not as good as the round.

This is the kind of pizza place you miss when you don’t live here anymore. a few steps above party story pizza. crust meant for maybe not the freshest toppings. good sauce. good cheese. a unique chew. this is classic midwestern pizza at its best. on the other hand, it can be a bit of a crap shoot the name puts it over the edge into pretty good for me.
