Walmart Supercenter

This what we call OUR Walmart. The people who work there are our neighbours and our friends. Before our Walmart was built alot of people drove to Bradford and Jamestown to shop. This is where you go 24 hours a day to get something you need. The people of Warren county determined that they liked Walmart more than Kmart. that is why Kmart left. Walmart now has to compete with Dollar General in our area. Walmart gives us what we want at the price we like.

It’s a Walmart and though all are basically the same, there are some things that make up a difference between them. For a super center, this is a rather small one, then being located in Pennsylvania, a state with an archaic state liquor store and state licensed beer distributorship, it’s shopping conveniences are somewhat limit. Then, to add to that it is located in an area well known for having a population consisting, to put it as politely as possible, challenged individuals. In fact it is even located across the street from North Warren State Hospital which is basically a hospital treating patients suffering from various mental illnesses; some of them being rather serious (hint: It has a Forensic Unit) cases which is why the area is posted with warning signs that say: «Do not pick up hitchhikers.» Those signs, by the way, are no joke and had best be taken seriously or you may suddenly end up with a raving out of control lunatic seated next to you when their drugs wear off.
