To Dry For Style Bar

Extremely unprofessional. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I was scheduled to get my hair blow dried and styled for my baby shower at 11 am on a Sunday morning. I showed up for my appointment only to find out that they were closed without any prior notice.
There were 3 other guests that had been waiting outside in the snow since 10 am.
It has been 4 days since my event and I have yet to receive a call to at least «try» to explain their unprofessionalism. I posted a review on their Facebook page and they just deleted their page.
Do not trust them with styling your hair for major life events.

After having my very first blow out ever… To Dry For has made me a serious believer. After referral from a good friend on 12÷19÷15, I called and made three same day appointments for 12:30pm. I could never give myself hair this luxurious with this much body. I was very pleased. My stylist was absolutely wonderful. Incredibly polite and prompt with offering a cold beverage. I was blown away by the customer service of all staff.
My stylist asked questions through out the entire process. Her hands were at work, but she really made me feel in control of the styling process. The end product was better than imagined.
I got my hair done for a big night out with friends. After our blow out appointment which was for 12:30 we went about our day. We shopped, dined and danced all night long. This morning I woke up, put a brush through my hair and couldn’t believe how much body and volume my hair still had. My ends were still rounded wonderfully.
I truly am a believer in this blow out bar! This is not yet a well known concept in the Midwest… But with a salon like this setting the standard, I couldn’t be happier.
We will be back and cannot wait to introduce new clients! Thank you so very much, I appreciate you!

Unprofessional place! I would not return here, and if someone is in a hurry, would not recommend this place.
I scheduled an appointment 3 days before the appointment, asked questions how long time would take to make a hair style and etc. The manager said that maximum 1 hour. They will tell you anything just to bring you to the place. I arrived 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled time was. My stylist was not ready. She was not ready on my scheduled time. 5 min pass, 10, 15, 20– and she was still not ready! Such a slow place! Are here work any professional? Or just hobbyists? The front desk lady was promising that the stylist would end soon. She offered discount for me– I did not need discount but just my hair done! My birthday dinner supposed to start in 45 minutes and I was with dirty and oily head. After 30 min of wait (it was my birthday, and I could not wait longer because party time was scheduled), I was irritated and angry with this place! Plus, the stylist just finished half of the head of other client, when it supposed to be my time! Very slow and unprofessional place. Better go to Dino Palmieri (at least they know their job) for dry bar. Very disappointed with this place, and front desk lady is liar! She every 5 minutes promised me that the stylist would end up quickly. And she never did even I waited 30 minutes! Hello! You are not coloring hair or cutting but just curling or straightening hair? If you are not professionals — stay at home, and get quick people who know how to work with people’s hair.
One more time true, better pay more, but get good service. This place sucks.

LOVE Gabrielle and Elana!!! These ladies are amazing. The most meticulous hair stylists i have ever had do my hair. They truly care about what they do and the hair looks beautiful for a WEEK!!!

I am giving this salon a low rating for the discriminatory practices they have and not for the way my hair was styled. I actually felt the stylist Elaina did a nice job on my hair. I travel to this area twice a month for work and was staying around the corner at a hotel and needed my hair styled. When I called to make an appt the person at the desk quoted me a price of $ 27 but said it could be more based on the texture and length of hair. She stared if you had extra curly or very long hair they would charge more. So I arrived and the salon is beautiful and the staff was very cordial. Elaina did my hair and when it came time to check out the cashier Peggie (as it states on my receipt) said my hair would be an extra $ 10 because of the texture the way she told me on the phone. I was shocked because I am black but my hair is newly relaxed, of a fine texture and only medium length (about two inches past my shoulder). I immediately felt like this practice was discriminatory because I was black. My hair was completed in under 50 minutes (shampoo, blow dry and curled with the irons) so what extra work my texture caused had me puzzled. If my hair was natural without a relaxer I would have understood because the blow dry alone would have been 50 minutes alone, but it is not so I feel like this is just a practice they have when it come to black hair. I was really disheartened because I liked my hair otherwise.

I’ve tried other blue dry bars but to dry for is the best! I’ve had three different stylists, all have been fantastic. The best is they get me in right away and always great results.

This place gave me a terrible blowout. I would never return here based on my experience. The stylist said «it didn’t really turn out how I wanted», but offered no apologies or offer to come back for another try. I should note, I got very frequent blowouts and am not very picky.

I called to make an appointment and found an opening right around the time I needed, despite it being Friday.
I walk in and wow is it bright in there! All white everywhere. I was greeted by a couple of friendly girls and directed to the «waiting area». A few minutes later, out came Rachel and I was taken to the back area for a wash. On my way back, I made note of how immaculate the salon was, PLUS!
Ah, all women know that the best part about visiting the salon is the part where someone scrubs your head, and your eyes just roll back like a happy baby. Yup this was great, about five minutes of my scalp just being massaged and the shampoo aroma floating around.
I like my hair big, so that’s all I said and Rachel seemed to know what I want. The entire process took about 40 minutes start to finish, the timing is impressive as I have thick, long hair. The actual finish was beautiful but still left something to be desired along with the use of too many products that weighed down my hair and hours later running my fingers through my hair just felt so greasy! I think it would take a couple weeks of my hair not being washed for that to happen naturally without products. That’s where they lost one star.
They offer other hair services, they are a full service hair salon, and I’ve interacted with the other girls on two visits and they’re all friendly.
Booking is easy, either online or by phone, very convenient if your lifestyle is anything like mine. I think it’s about $ 34 with tax for a blowout of your choice (straight, wavy, curled, etc).
Worth a try! :)

Alana was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and delivered to perfection! I was having headshots done for work and I needed to look poised and professional. I would definitely recommend her!

I had a such an amazing time getting my hair done by Lora! It was a cloudy week and I just needed something to cheer me up! The space is fun and bright and my hair looked amazing! I already have another appointment for next week!

My experience at Bubble was such a treat for myself… and I will absolutely be going back. We started with a scalp massage, then blow out and style, ending with makeup application. I was ready for a night out short of getting dressed. The customer service was fabulous and personalized. They even walked me to my car with an umbrella because of bad weather. Prices are very reasonable and I would recommend to all of my friends. Thank you Bubble for a wonderful experience!

My new favorite place! Staff is excellent and friendly! I felt so welcomed as soon as I walked into the salon. The décor is so beautiful and girly. Perfect place to go for a girls day or before a night out. I went two weeks in a row Ashley did am excellent job with my hair but every client I have seen walk out has looked amazing. Seriously obsessed and can’t wait until I go back. Not only is the location great but the price is just right too, I couldn’t ask for anything more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
