This review is overdue, from April 2015. We were moving from an apartment to our house, like every mover, they work on an hourly rate. One good thing is that they were early however, they moved at a turtle’s pace. We had a one bedroom, hardly any furniture a couple of dozen boxes and what should have taken just a couple of hours, 3 tops, took close to 6 hours. At one point they were just hanging around inside the truck just talking. So infuriating that they were purposely doing this for the extra hours. Anyway everything went ok, no incidents or breakage. It’s just upsetting to be taken advantage of.

I can’t provide a rating for this company. I had hired them to move me on July 28th, and I received an e-​mail today (July 1st) saying that they were closing their business indefinitely because of family problems and could not fulfill their commitment. I’m not sure what to think except that I am scrambling during the busy summer moving season. They did provide a telephone number of another moving company, but I have no idea if everything will work out.

Fauquier Moving Company got us out of a bind by helping us with a last-​minute move. All of our furniture and belongings arrived safely — and just when we needed it to be done. The owner is amazing and very dependable. Thank you guys!

Fauquier moving was awesome. It rained all day during our move and the guys were great about it. Everything arrived clean and in great shape. I’ll never go back to moving myself again.
