John W. Harre, DDS, PC

I’ve never been a person with anxiety or fear of the dentist, but that might be in part thanks to Dr. Harre and his awesome team! I’ve been coming here for well over 10 years, and continue to only see Dr. Harre despite the fact that I’ve moved and have to drive an hour for my appointments. As long as I am in the DC Metro area I will never have another dentist. The staff is awesome, friendly, and really go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, your experience is a pleasant one and that you don’t leave with any questions or issues.

Here is a sentence I never thought I would write: I love my dentist! I pushed off going to the dentist for three years because I was scared and we moved. I started reading about Dr. Harre and his staff and thought, «Nobody is this nice.» But they are! Sarah greeted me on the phone like I was an old friend and gave me restaurant recommendations since we were new in town. Kim the hygienist was so nice in explaining everything that she was doing and really took her time in cleaning my teeth. Tonya deserves an award for putting up with my panicked mewls when I found out I had to get not one crown but two. Dr. Harre was super with me and wouldn’t continue the procedure until I assured him that I was numbed enough. This is by far the best dental office and staff I have ever experienced. I have since referred my husband and another friend.

I just had my six– month hygiene visit today with Shannon and Dr. Harre. Yet another friendly, professional, caring, comfortable visit! I’ve been coming here since 2001 and I always feel like I’m among old friends who really care about me and who have given me the best dental care I have ever received. Looking forward to my next cleaning in July!

We have been seeing the Dr. for many years. He is very competent and personable. We especially appreciate his hygienist, Kim. We always ask for her.

Visited many dentist offices over the years and this is the best ever. From the minute you make your first appointment you realize this is a very professionally run office. Doctor Harre explains in great detail what and why he recommends treatments. He was able to restore my front teeth so I dare to smile confidently again. He also diagnosed and fixed a gap between two molars that was trapping food and causing inflammation and bone loss in my jaw, a problem my previous three dentists failed to do. Kim, my hygienist, not only cleaned my teeth deep under the gum line, but also taught me how to keep them clean so that I now have almost no more «pockets».
I highly recommend Doctor Harre and his staff if you are looking for a (new) dentist.
