This seemingly quaint quilt shop is actually an adventure of discovery. Several rooms of fabric in the main shop give way to a second shop, chock full of fabric front to back, and a classroom for instruction and trunk show demos. The staff is friendly, greeting customers as they enter yet leaving them to shop in peace. The fabrics are high quality, the notions and patterns diverse, and there is available a large selection of Aurafil thread.

So glad I found Kelly Ann’s! Great selection of fabrics, sensational staff! Angie was such a help in assisting me with ideas to finish out my red white and blue quilt for a retired Marine. Terrific experience, I will be back!

This shop is not perfect but darned close. My wife found the store well laid out with considerable fabric for the space but it did not feel cluttered. The friendly staff greeted us as we walked in and remainder friendly. There was a good variety of fabric that she had not found elsewhere(licensed) and we both found the painted quilt blocks on the floor charming. For the husband there was a chair near the door with a basket of candy close by.

Sweet people! I went in there to check it out. I’d like to learn how to quilt and will definitely come back just as soon as I get my act together. I’m planning to pick up fabric to make a quilt with some quilt squares with his watercolor artwork that I ordered from Warrenton MS where my son goes so school. I know they have classes, too! In addition, if you like, you can make a quilt from pre-packaged cloth that they’ve created. There are many styles to choose from. They even have a room of civil war replication prints and quilts and some packages for you to do them. I recall the kits were averaged around $ 50 for a small quilt. They recommend that you start small so it doesn’t get overwhelming.

Excellent quilt shop, which I always refer to as the cutest little quilt shop in Old Town Warrenton. The owners and staff are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Each has their own specialty and share advice, recommendations, etc., freely. A wide variety of classes are available. The fabric selection is excellent and is updated regularly.

I’ve wanted to learn to quilt for years, but haven’t had the time or confidence. I recently took a beginner quilting class with the owner, Kelly Ann, and am happy to report it was a worthwhile and fun five hours. Not only did she provide personalized and clear instruction for newbies like me, she offered tips and suggestions from a seasoned quilter(herself). The class was small(4), and the classroom space was more than adequate. She surprised me by providing sweets and lunch. What more could you ask?! The shop itself is charming and packed with loads of inspiration, as is the owner herself. I’m looking forward to going back.

Let me first state that I don’t quilt or do anything artsy-craftsy. But my Mom does, and I am always on the lookout for new places for her to check out fabric-wise for the Baby Blanket ministry that our Church runs. I’ve been in Kelly Ann’s shop a couple of times. The last time I took the time to slowly explore the place and look around. They offer a wide array of cool and colorful fabric patterns, materials, patterns, tools, sewing machines, and such. It’s an older building, so there are lots of nooks and crannies to explore. They also offer sewing and quilting classes — so you can learn from the experts! Check out Kelly Ann’s Quilting!
