While it’s a lot further from St. Louis than the new crop of «outlet» stores being built in Chesterfield Valley, Van Heusen in Warrenton(one of the last tenants of the formerly great Warrenton Outlet Center) discounts a lot more aggressively than its sister stores. It’s a company outlet in the more classic sense of the idea: excellent deals are waiting to be had, if you don’t mind stopping by en route to or from Columbia/KC. There really isn’t much else to do in the shopping plaza, but the exit does have several fast food options, a Walmart and gas stations. New inventory reportedly arrives regularly and earlier in the week. Sales offering even deeper discounts are frequent and don’t hesitate to ask: there may be affinity or a military discount available, on top of the other savings. Notes: * Brands for men sold here include Van Heusen(obviously), Van Heusen Studio and Geoffrey Beene. * How do you know it’s an outlet? There’s a $ 3 rack and a $ 10 dress shirt section.
