Youngs Bay Electronics

This seems to be the hot ticket if you use Verizon products and services. I am more of a proponent of «dumb phones» and while my inner Geek is strong with The Force and a love for hot nerdy lasses in glasses, I am one whose technological skills maxed out with The Commodore 64 & Colecovision. Places like Radio Shack are important, because I am the lad that always has the situation that arises where I need to know what obscure cable or connector is needed to make something or another work in some unorthodox fashion.
Each time I have popped in, I have been greeted with a smile, a laugh at my warped humour, and most importantly answers and guidance from knowledgeable staff.
This is an independently owned location so it is nice to support local folks.

This radio shack has a little bit of everything. They sell cell phones and are a Verizon dealer seem to be pretty busy related to that. I think they are also a dealer for another cell phone provider, but I am not positive.
I went here to make some complicated changes to our cell phone plan and they did a decent job of handling it. I went back another time to buy a new DSL modem and they had what I needed.
