Called to schedule an appointment as a new patient, the lady I spoke to over the phone asked me for my information after giving her my information she told me I needed a referral from my PCP in order to schedule my appointment (my pcp is also part of CPG). I work at a clinic and know this was incorrect, however I called my PCP and they gave me a referral, I called again and asked to schedule and appointment, I wanted to see a specific doctor and because the referral my PCP made was to a different dorctor I was told they could not schedule this appointment. I called my PCP’s office and told them to change the name of the doctor in the refferal to the specific doctor I wanted to see. I waited for the referral to process and then called again, I again was told by the lady that answered the phone that she could not schedule that appointment because new patients were scheduled by a particular person. She offered to take my name and number and have that person call me back. I got a call back the same day, I scheduled my appointment, the lady on the other end asked me to bring my insurance and photo ID, I asked her if I also needed to bring my referral and she said NO because I did NOT need one. I am recosidering if I should cancel my appointment because if staff is disorganized I can only imagine the providers, my appointment is this coming week, I will update on the office and provider experience asap.

First appointment there with my wife for our initial prenatal check up, 2pm appointment, it’s now 2:42 and we are still waiting with no explanation of why or when we will be seen. At what point do I get to start billing these inconsiderate aholes at my hourly rate. I’m sure they wouldn’t appreciate waiting this long.
