Pretty good actually. We have a couple of favorites like Chicken Piccata and Eggplant Parm. Pretty short list though as other dishes are a big«MEH». Its more for the families here as parents can get a decent meal and a drink(s), while the kids are entertained with pizza, mac &cheese and pasta.

Emma was a great wait staff person. Very attentive. The food was very good but the chef needs to go a lot lighter on salt usuage. Way too heavy handed.

I don’t even know where to begin. This place is horrible. The service was decent although the waitress looked as if she would rather be anywhere else. The food was overpriced. $ 3 to add a salad to an entrée?! Either way, it was not a big issue until the food came. The portion size was a joke, I have never seen a portion size so small. The pasta was not fully cooked and the sauce was bland. I got the fettuccini Alfredo. There was also a foreign substance in my food that was never identified. Even the drinks were inadequate. Terrible experience, not worth the arm and leg it costs. I am never going back.

I have been coming to this restaurant monthly for over three years. Over the last few months I have noticed a slight downward trend and this time I have decided it will be the last time I go. The waitress kept apologizing. The coffee was terrible. The beets in the beet salad were crunchy. The cook says that’s how they make them. I’ve had that salad plenty of times before, never crunchy. Also missing was the goat cheese, and the salad dressing was definitely not the champagne vinaigrette. Very oily. Oh, forgot, no rolls. And we were charged for the coffee that came from the malfunctioning coffee maker. Not sure where the manager is, but this restaurant was always good before. Then the staff changed.

Three strikes rule. Today after a very long wait I was served cold ravioli. Previous visit, I ordered a pizza that tasted very bad, prior visit, they said they were no longer carrying my pizza topping. It’s going seriously down hill.

Service was lacking. We stood there while 3 different people told us they would be back to seat us. Chicken parm was good however the sauce was lacking in flavor. they do give you large portions, enough to split a meal with someone.

Went there in July. Our server was the worst. Did not check on us, had to ask for bread and refills on our drinks. She was too busy talking to her friends who were seated at another table. And she was not waiting on them. Another server finally came over and took care of us. Left her a tip that was equal to the service. We even called the manager over and explained the situation. Told him why her tip was so low. He didn’t seem to get it either. Have not been back since then. She then handed the bill to my girlfriend. Servers are instructed to put the bill in the middle of the table.

Worst customer service ever. If you place a take out order your food will take forever. You stand and wait and wait and they are so embarrassed they act like they don’t see you while you wait 45 minutes in addition to the 40 minutes they gave you as a pick up. Even worse the place was almost empty but now it makes sense why on a Saturday night. I would comment on the food but I am not sure I will ever get to taste it. Avoid this place and go up the street where they understand the concept of customer service.

Why do they bring the appetizers and the entrée within a few minutes. Oh, to rush you out the door. Food is good. Waitress was friendly and knowledgable. Just wasn’t thrilled about the entrée coming out so fast.

Some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. In an area with a ton of good-great Italian joints why anyone would subject themselves to undercooked, rubber noodles and sauce that could be from a jar at the dollar store. Someone who obviously doesn’t like me served take out pizza from this place one night and I immediately yearned for some Elios frozen pizza for a slight upgrade. Awful.

The Crab cakes are awful; Tuscan wings, pizza and swordfish good though; Waitress nice but overwhelmed; Kids eat free on Wednesday so they were busy

I live down the street from Bertucci’s, so I can assure you I’ve eaten here many times. If this review was only about the food I’d give it five stars. They have the best meatballs in town and their pizzas are all top notch. Food quality is A+. Unfortunately, the service is what knocks this restaurant down to 3 stars, because the service is 1 star. You can get lucky and have a perfect night there, where you think that I am an idiot and totally wrong about my review. I get it, as I’ve had many wonderful experiences where it went smoothly. But, I’ve also gone there enough to be on the end where I waited so long my meal that I watched other families come and go while waiting for our food. Multiple times this has happened to my family. Sometimes the place is busy so you expect it might take a while, but other times there is no reason for the food to take as long as it does. I’ve complained to the Manager and almost walked out without eating on one trip. I have a family with young kids so they should know I didn’t come there expecting the meal to take over an hour and a half to get to my table from when the order was placed. After waiting and complaining and almost walking out, they comped us one free kid dessert. Big whoop. If they can get some better management in there and figure out how to serve their customers in an orderly fashion they would have one of the best family restaurants in town. At the moment they are a crap shoot, so hope that you go there on a night where they have their *bleep* together.

We always stop here late afternoons-I think our usual server is John, a friendly(and quite handsome) young man. The food is always excellent. My regular(vegetarian) fare includes the grilled veggies appetizer and pasta pomodoro: always excellent. My husband is a brazen carnivore, and loves the steak prepared in the wood fired oven. We go at a laid back time, John is an awesome server, and the food is consistently good. For a chain restaurant, I don’t think you can ask for more. :)

I’m writing this as I’m sitting in the car having just left Bertuccis. Without eating. The first indication of mayhem was that they told us it would be 5 minutes to sit at a high top table. There were a lot of people waiting but there were 3 high top tables empty, waiting to be bussed. After 10 minutes, the hostess told us that it would be faster for us to wait for a regular table(20 – 30 minute wait) than it would take for the empty high top. Yes, this means they were anticipating that it would take 20 minutes to bus a table. Finally the high top table is bussed first and we are seated. Immediately afterwards, our waiter takes our drink and meal orders and then turns to another employee and says, «I’m going to tell them again to stop seating here.» I’m assuming«them» refers to the hostesses. 5 minutes later a couple tries to sit at the empty high top but the waiter tells them that they can’t. When our waiter comes back with water, we ask for bread. He was apologetic and says«yeah but it’s going to be awhile.» After a few minutes we remind our waiter that we had ordered wine. He replies with, «yeah it’s going to be awhile because we don’t have any glasses.» Finally, we ask him to level with us. Is our meal going to take forever? Yes, he says. He tells us that he told the hostesses to stop seating because, «they didn’t have anything to serve people.» We tell him that we are going to eat elsewhere and he apologizes and says he totally understands. We left him a tip for bringing us water and for his honesty. As we walked out, I glanced at the hoard of people waiting for tables and felt pity on them. We’ve eaten at other Bertucci’s locations(my husband was trying to carbo load before the Philly Marathon) and we always have had a nice experience. This visit may cause us to think twice about visiting again.

Simply put. if you have no where else to go and you absolutely need to eat Italian style food… keep driving! Food was Blah. with a capital B. I would just stick to their pizza and stay away from anything else. Over cooked pasta and flavorless sauces. Sorry but maybe they were having a bad day. It reminded me why I try to stay away from«chains». I had better experiences with their pizza so I gave them two stars.

This is our go-to place when visiting family on the East Coast, largely because Allergy Boy can get a pizza here, and the yummy rolls are dairy free. No, there’s more than that. We usually bring 20+ people and stay for a couple hours, and they are very accommodating. The service had been very good on those occasions, and the food is reliably good. It’s also refreshing to be able to get a glass of house chianti for about 7 bucks, instead of the California standard 10 dollars or more. I love the shrimp diabolo in particular. Good use of capers.

I ordered the grilled chicken marsala and subbed the sides listed on the menu for a side of meatballs to go. Both were very good. When I called the girl said it would be ready in 20 min and when i showed up 20 min later is was ready and hot. This is important to me since I only have 30 min for lunch. Great service+great food = happy guy.

Lunch visit. Fast, friendly, great salad bowl, rolls, pasta dishes. A little pricey, but the quality was there, so I’m not complaining.

Outside Patio… Gluten free menu and desserts! Came here with a group of 6 of us and we sat outside on the patio which was great. Far enough off the road that you didn’t even notice it. They also have umbrella’s out there so if your more of a «shade» person your set. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious! We got the marinated olives for an app and it came with a HUGE serving of olives(nice surprise and change from the 5 you usually get at other places). The shared salad was great and their meats/cheese tray for an app was also delicious and plenty to share. The entre servings were very generous and everything came out hot and delicious. I had the fish dish with potatoes and tomato’s and it was great… I was totally stuff off the olives, salad, and meat at this point but it was delicious and I stuffed it in none the less.
