Too cavernous to feel intimate, but plenty of space if you want a guaranteed spot. the lattes are very good.

New Owners. Not the old new owners. New, new owners. On the plus side, the new décor is attractive and the leather seating is not as uncomfortable as you would expect. There’s also more of it. On the down side, nothing will ever be as comfortable as the old, ugly couches that were in there and I miss them. Also, they’d stopped baking their own cookies and what-not and started buying from The Crazy Day Café, which means the baked goods are tiny and over-priced. But I still love the chai so this is still my favorite coffee shop in town.

This business seems like it is struggling, the large room was empty except for a few cheesy furnishings. The guy behind the counter was super nice, but this place was extremely disappointing.

There are coffee places you take your friends to and then there are coffee places your mom takes her friends to. This is very much the latter.

EDIT: this shop has changed hands several times. I’m not sure how accurate my original review is anymore. Just go to Light Rail in Winona if you want the best coffee in town. This isn’t a coffee shop at all. It is an interior decorator/bric-à-brac store. It pretty much puts on airs and is really annoying if you are looking for a real«coffe house». It is more like a décor-themed hallmark store that also sells coffe(with a justice system name theme).
