Best pizza this side of Chicago! Tuesday night is half off, doesn’t get any better. Sunday & Monday is $ 3,00 burger & fries. It’s a great burger! You would think paper thin but I’m guessing it’s a third pounder.

Just finished an amazing deep dish pizza at this haunted hotel/restaurant. Started with the fried pickles which mu daughter and friend thought were awesome. They are the slices not the spears… which is the key to any good fried pickle. Wife got the jerk tacos. Beware; super spicy. She said was good and would get again. The deep dish chicago style pizza is where this dive bar hits a home run. Sauce is super fresh, crust is flaky and sausage is legit. Simply an amazing pizza which got this spot the four star nod. Atmosphere is dirty and disgusting. Get the pizza and get over it. Sit outside on the deck if you can.

Typical sports bar. Pizza is good it’s ½ price on Tuesday. The wings are what I go for they are pretty good and never fail. The beer is great. It’s a good environment, and the bar tenders are nice and friendly and do a great job.

The pizza is great, however the staff is usually rude. Almost as if they are inconvenienced to serve you. That should tell you how great the pizza is though because we continue to give them our money.

They have great pizza! I use to live in Chicago and this is the closest I can get to Chicago style pizza within 50 miles!

Danny’s Pizza opened in early 2009 above the Barbee Hotel & Restaurant in Warsaw, Indiana. They knocked out some of their former«whirlpool» suites to add in a bar area. This added a different style of venue for those who didn’t frequent the downstairs Barbee Hotel, which is a more traditional family restaurant. The owner, Danny, grew up in Chicago and brought his great recipe for Deep Dish Pizza with him to Danny’s Sports Bar. Being from Chicago myself, I have a GREAT respect and adoration for good deep dish style pizza. Though it is not Giordano’s, it is still excellent in its own right. My husband and I even had them cater our wedding with over 40 deep dish pizzas! :) I gave them four stars because their service is OK and has some room for improvement. Venue is a typical sports bar and thus the atmosphere follows suit. Both the thin crust and the deep dish are great. We love ½ price Tuesdays. But sometimes their is an inconsistency with the pizza. Sometimes it is very good and other times it is AMAZING! Give it a try next time you are in town. P. S. Even though I am a personal trainer and I LOVE the taste of this pizza… I suggest it in moderation. :) Not exactly healthy. ***Update June 2013(several years later). We still enjoy the way the deep dish pizza tastes but were rarely eat here anymore. The bar/grill kinda went downhill in its environment. Everytime I went to pick up a pizza, I felt like I was hit on by some drunk man at the bar. Not exactly my cup of tea. If we order deep dish pizza anymore, we tend to order it from Angelo’s in Warsaw, IN or from Sleepy Owl in Syracuse.
