I love finding places that open early where I can get a good breakfast. I got there at 7 and found out they have off menu omelettes. Had a western omelette and biscuit. The food was fresh, hot and pretty much all I could ask for. The server kept the coffee coming non stop. Service was fast and attentive. I was finished, paid and out before 730. The price was very reasonable. Sure, the place needs updating, but that does not impact the food and service. I expect to be going back.

I thought I’d picked a vegetarian skillet as they didn’t list any pork or ham products in the description… sneaky bastards :( At least the service was pleasant!

This is a standard, middle-of-the-road restaurant with good, basic food. Some items are really excellent — the pork tenderloin sandwich is, indeed, very tender and delicious and a good value. Also very good — and rather uncommon these days — is sugar cream pie. The feel of the place is mid-70s, maybe 80s — décor certainly could stand an upgrade and the carpet could stand a thorough cleaning. But you’re likely to find something you like.
