Emergency Veterinary Services of Ri, Inc

Recently had a big scare with my dog Hercules (his picture is featured). At 730 pm on a Sunday, Herc began vomitting and shaking profusely– his breathing was labored and he wouldnt get up (my husband had to carry all 75 lbs of him). Of course in this inconvenient time of need, our regular vet was unavailable.
This place responded to our phone call and invited us to bring him in. We loaded him up and arrived. Having a sick animal who can’t communicate what is wrong is a scary thing. The staff here were caring, helpful and determined to ensure our boy was okay.
Yes they definitely know how to rack up a bill and without pet insurance– be prepared to pay. I am grateful for this place and will continue to use them should we have any further medical issues after hours.
(Herc is okay by the way, he is on some good antibiotics fighting an inner ear infection. He should be back to normal within the week.)
