5 stars from my kids — they absolutely love this place — I enjoy the burritos too. It can get a little pricey once you add a soda for each family member. I miss the old location. The new spot is in the crazy dunkin donuts parking lot and the dining room is a bland square room. Get there early in the evening. They often run out of popular meat choices.

Just had burritos again tonight and the guy with the dreads makes the best burritos. He also takes care of his customers. He’s courteous and quick with service. The ingredients are just perfect at this establishment. They don’t strive for grass fed and organic, but they nail the authentic flavors. Again and again they have always been amazing, and again and again I always wish I was here when I get a burrito somewhere else. Today something was a bit salty and I think it was the shredded beef, but it was so tasty. Don’t ever try it once. Give it at least 2 attempts, and find our buddy with the dreads.

I used to love this place when I lived in Warwick now since I moved I don’t get to have it and this was my first time in their new location and I was excited to see the changes but I have to say $ 20 for a burrito bowl with a side or chip seems a bit high but I’ll always pay for quality. Yet unfortunately the corn salsa was undercooked resulting in hard corn. The chicken was under flavored and tasted more burnt then grilled. Chips are plain and the guacamole was so unflavored I had to Doctor it up when I got home since I ordered it to go. I hope this was a bad day and things get better

I agree with another review that the food and service has gone downhill. Loved this place back in the summer, but now the salad I used to get that was great was mediocre at best. Very little romaine, very little salsa and a huge glop of Guacamole on top of it. When I questioned the amount of lettuce the blond girl replied with attitude«that’s how it always is». No, it wasn’t always like that. Will not be going back.

I’m sorry but when my 4 year old says it’s disgusting and can’t even eat carnitas because there extremely greasy and spicy that’s not good. Pork carnitas sat in grease pretty sad that it even gets more than one star. Store bought flour tortillas just make a taco here taste worse. If you want a real street taco this is not the place to go. Sadly you have to travel to Monroe or an authentic Mexican place for a taco. do yourself a favor and go else where. This is far from Mexican street tacos.

I was in Warwick for other business and sought a local taco stop. This did not disappoint. The Quesadilla and tacos were fantastic. The food tasted fresh and non mass produced i.e. Moes or Chipotle. I’ve had tacos around the country, NYC to San Diego and places in between and this place had some of the best carnitas I’ve EVER had. Very fair prices. Definitely recommended.

Amazing lunch spot, great for a quick lunch with the family. We sat outside, such a nice day. I love tacos, the guacamole was good too.

Nope. Has gone seriously downhill quickly. It doesn’t feel clean anymore. Feels greasy and cheap in a way it didn’t before. I, unfortunately, will be moving on.

I see other reviewers compare Taco Hombre to Chipotle and they’re not mistaken… but trust me when I say it’s even better! More options and EXCELLENT service. My fiancé and I are regulars and the staff pretty much knows our order by heart at this point. The portions are monstrous and we’ve been going here regularly for about a year without ever having a bad experience. Love the new location(friendlier parking) and am happy to see that Taco Hombre is doing well! Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the Warwick area.

We had a group of 10 for lunch at Taco Hombre today. None of us had eaten there before so we were kind of confused and disorganized about our order. The staff was very helpful and got us all taken care of very quickly. We all had a different dish and everyone raved about their lunch. My salad was a tad too spicey so it would have been good to know that was coming but overall very very good!

On a casual night in, this is always an option for my wife and I. It’s basically set up just like Chipotle. The service is great… just walk in, choose the type of meal you want(burrito, tacos, bowl, etc.), then choose your protein and fresh ingredients. The fish is great and you can’t go wrong with any of the meats, although the shredded pollo and carnitas are my favorite. Don’t forget to order the churros!

Now this is great Mexican Food! Absolutely have to try it! Fresh food, right on the main strip in Warwick. Not many Mexican restaurants in the area, and this is definitely one to stop at!

Was quite disappointed with Taco Hombre upon a recent visit to Warwick for the weekend. Upon entering, I was anticipating a great«Local Chipotle-esque» experience. I chose a burrito bowl with shredded chicken and a bunch of fixings, including guac. After taking a few bites, it became apparent how flavorless the food was, at least the options I chose. The shredded chicken seemed like it was boiled in water and shredded, without any seasoning. To top off the poor taste, the food was swimming in a pool of excess liquid from the chicken making it inedible. Even the guac was pretty flavorless, which I didn’t even know was possible. The staff was accommodating and refunded the food, since I no longer had a taste for anything else they offered. Would not return.

Pros? Pretty decent, fresh food made exactly how you want it. I get the kids size nachos & it’s really good, enough for an adult. Cons? Pricey. New location has terrible parking. They REALLY need to work on their customer service. It’s downright horrible. It’s like you’re doing THEM a favor by eating here. Not nice and very impatient.

I would give it 10 stars if that was an option. Every time we come up to Warwick taco hombre is a must. Amazing food made fresh and the flavors are unbelievable.

My first experience at taco hombre was by far one of the best Mexican experiences I’ve had on the East Coast. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla with corn tomato and guacamole. It took 10 minutes to grill the shrimp which did not seem to be previously frozen. The quesadilla came out very crispy and fresh. It was the biggest quesadilla I have ever seen and could not eat the whole thing in one sitting. We also ordered chips and guacamole. The chips did not seem like the best chips they could’ve offered but the amount of guacamole given was very fair and generous This is definitely a little gem in a little gem of a town. I am very excited to visit Warwick again and I know for a fact I will be returning to this cute little restaurant.

Super solid little place. Decent amount of seating and fast, efficient staff. On this particular trip I had two crispy tacos, one cubed chicken and one shredded beef. The shredded beef stood out as the winner. The deep fried shells(I don’t think they are corn) were stuffed with meats and toppings of my choosing — two were definitely enough to satisfy my hunger. Also tried the chips and guac which were good and a huge portion. Definitely a tasty option in the area!
