friday night catfish dinner. yum! especially liked the coleslaw – so much better than most. next i want to try their cod. something nice, too, about going to a place that was standing and in business since 1948.

Dont be scared off by the building. Once you get inside, find a seat. Everyone knows each other, very much a local place.
Staff is very friendly, food is cooked right in front of you. There are a couple specials and breakfast is served all day. Grab a small table or belly up at the bar. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I went with the tuna melt and fries. Delicious. The burgers are a big hit too.

The food was very good — I happened to stop by on my way through town, had never been here before. My experience was pretty awkward. Right when I walked in, I could tell everybody in here were locals and they all stared at me like I was a stranger from the outside. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time I was waiting for my food. However, apart from that, the food was delicious!
