My wife and I stayed here only once previously…25 years ago. We generally never have a reason to stay since we only live an hour drive away. I will say, however, I was impressed at how well kept up the place looked inside considering how long it’s been around. I believe it was originally built in the early 1980’s? In any case, we stayed Sat Dec 62014, one night, room with 2 queens. $ 82 and change, booked online via one of those convenient online services. The room was just fine overall. Only blemishes were some minor visual carpet flaws on the floor by the sink and some minor water damage next to the shower on the sheetrock, and some minor(but easily fixable) black grout lines between some tiles around the shower water control valve. The water pressure was not real strong, but just enough to do the job. The shower head is even with my chin(I’m 6-ft) so I had to bend down some. Otherwise, great place, comfortable mattresses. I think they are those«gel-like» foamy style mattresses? I wasn’t sure how that would work, and my wife used the other bed and even she commented the next morning how she liked it. They had secured wf-fi so I don’t know if they provide a password. We never used the TV since we arrived late in the evening, slept, and left right away the next day. The place was quiet(I don’t believe there was a high occupancy the night we stayed). They had a vending(soda’s) and ice machine in the middle of the 1st floor near our stairs. We did not take in the breakfast(which is 6−9am) since we got up around 10am and left. I would certainly consider staying here again. I don’t know who runs or owns the motel, but our arrival and departure staff were both younger men either from India, or have parents who were, etc, and were very helpful and understandable speaking English. I certainly recommend considering this hotel based upon my experience. 4 stars only because of the items noted above.
