I’ve been here Many times and look forward to each visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone I meet that is headed through. There selection of sandwiches and bakery is dynamic and ever changing. Wish I could go here more often or order everything and try it all. Sometimes it gets a little congested maybe could improve flow of ordering. Funky fun good coffee and damn good bakery! Shout out to the local Maple Hill flour they use. I look forward to going back real soon.

Absolutely amazing asparagus frittata. The peanut butter pie is my savior. Lunch specials and soups are wonderful and always changing. Coffee is always brewed right and the selection of baked goods will keep you coming back until you’ve had them all!

We stopped here before hiking Copper Falls. I had their signature cream cheese and honey stuffed cinnamon raisin French toast with bananas and caramel sauce. It was fantastic! My wife enjoyed some of Coco’s fine pastries. Well worth the stop if you are in the Apostle Islands area!

A fantastic bakery and breakfast place! They make everything in house. They have good coffee too! I had The Branco and it was on par with the best bfast sandwich I have ever had. I also had the blueberry Danish which tasted like heaven and absolutely cannot be beat. These guys got it going on!

Everything was amazing. 5 star joint no question. Started with possibly the best cinnamon roll I have ever had and a bacon cheddar scone that was buttery and delish. Must try if your in the area and need a perfect breakfast. Great baked goods, great breakfast, great service. Just great

Highly recommended, and largely overrated. First morning we had a frittata and a caramel pecan bun. Frittata was good. The«artisinal» bakery was white bread with caramel sauce spooned on it. The server had the personality of someone on lithium. Tried it one more time for benefit of doubt. Asked a much friendlier server about the 3 rye breads. Went with the one with caraway seeds as we love that. Back at hotel for seeded rye and smoked fish and not a seed to be found. Basically Beefsteak rye. Finally, the clientele was as one would expect at an «artisinal» joint — pretentious new money and nova hipster self-absorbed. This place is right out of Portlandia — a parody of itself.

Decent food. Great deli selection! Always very busy. They can be a little pricey though but it’s worth it! I’m not gluten free but they have the best GF chocolate chip cookies! They are better than most non GF cookies!

So you know I am a Coco’s junkie. I come up to the Bayfield area at least once a month and Coco’s must be on the gastronomic agenda at some point. Their breakfast is outstanding as are their lunches. I love their falafel and tabouleh. Among other things! Their coffee features Big Water Coffee Roasters coffee and is the best in the north. They have a special of the day and they have a large selection of sides. The café is a charming little eclectic place and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The bakery is OUTSTANDING. I ALWAYS buy bread to take home. Always. And their cookies and pastries and cheesecake and desserts are to die for. I cannot recommend this place enough. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Coffee is self serve. Soak in the casual relaxed atmosphere of our lovely Northwoods.

We stopped across this bakery to gas up and switch drivers for the drive back home. Well, I spotted this bakery and decided to give it a try. Well, there were plenty of pastries to try as well as bread. I asked to sample the raisin walnut bread. It was pretty good but lacking raisins and walnuts in every bite. So, I would have to say I have tasted better like the bakery in Edina next to Lunds and Byerlys. At least, I have to give them credit for having a very large selection which seems to be all homemade. Plenty and seating and it looks like a perfect place to bring your laptop to catch up on work or chat with friends.

Love this place. Great for a quick stop to grab something to eat in the car on the way somewhere, and an equally great place to stay and eat. Nice casual ambiance. I’ve liked everything I’ve ever had there. A friend got me special ordered birthday cupcakes here a few years ago and the chocolate ganache icing was something I still dream of when I’m hungry. Definitely give this place a try!

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. I had toad in the hole(eggs over easy in the middle of a piece of toast) with bacon and fruit. My husband had the French toast with banana and caramel sauce. I was grateful not to have to eat a Wonder Bread-based breakfast, but I was surprised that the dishes we had weren’t more tasty. The home baked cheddar-herb bread in my breakfast was not terribly cheesy or herby, and the texture was not that substantial. I had to ask for a pat of butter to liven up the toast. The accompanying bacon was delicious, however, and kudos to the restaurant for serving fresh chunks of apple, orange, and pineapple instead of the standard commercial melon/grape mix. My husband’s French toast, made with cinnamon bread and embellished with cream cheese, was unstintingly rich and over-the-top sweet. He said he was still a little hungry but just couldn’t eat any more. He polished off the herb-roasted potatoes and shared a couple of bites with me – they were very good. The restaurant has a sweet vibe and the food is made with care – I just longed for more complex flavors.

We finally arrived on the wintery shore of Lake Superior in the town of Washburn. The internet told of a must-stop bakery called Coco Artisan Breads and Fine Pastries. We were not let down: the place was magnificent. I got a griddled ham sandwich with melted, velvety Wisconsin cheddar on homemade bread, and a rich buttery snowman cookie. The blue /green art in the washroom was a frothy mural of the Apostle Islands: the blacker art on my car was a log of the miles on icy Northern roads. Coco, the kept promise of satisfying and artisanal food so close to the void, made the trip seem worthwhile.

Great little café en route to Apostle Islands! My friend has a Gluten allergy and she really enjoyed their GF Strawberry cupcakes! She loved them so much that she went back for more. She described them as delightfully moist and flavorful with a cream frosting that was not too sweet! My friend also had a GF soup, which she really enjoyed. I enjoyed their cheddar and bacon scone and took a slice of cheesecake to go, both were sinfully delicious! The strawberry cheesecake had a chocolate ganache on top — so amazing! This place is a cute, local, family owned shop offering so many freshly baked goods and some warm meals. It is totally worth the stop: enjoy something in the shop and make sure to take something to go(or you’ll wish you had later)! My only regret about this place is that we read their menu from the Bayfield visitor center, but after 5PM they mainly do soups, heated pre-made sandwiches and salads. not bad, but wish we had known to come sooner as their menu sounds just as scrumptious as their pastry and bread offerings! Side note: Coco offers free wi-fi, clean bathrooms and has plenty of street parking.
