In regards to Linda’s comment below… We were informed our«go-to» was sick. Nothing was mentioned about a hospital stay or pneumonia until I read just this comment. It’s also very true many people raved to us about her in advance of our event. Unfortunately. it’s just not what happened. Lastly, my husband and I were too busy enjoying the rest of the day to sit and complain to her staff(since she wasn’t there). This is why we waited until the next day to voice our concerns. I’m sure most brides don’t want to waste time on their big day going over issues. Also in that regard, our guests are not rude and would not complain to her staff but we’ve now heard multiple comments from family and friends that they agree with all our issues, noticed the problems, but the rest of the day was too wonderful to worry about it.

We had Linda at Soups to Nuts Catering cater our wedding this past Saturday August 31st, 2013 in Flemington, NJ. We had 130 guests at our home on the lawn. From the beginning we thought Linda was very responsive to our needs. We were doing a vegetarian wedding but wanted good food that all of our guests would enjoy, not the typical wedding fare that no one remembers. We heard numerous comments from our guests regarding the food. Many said it was the best wedding dinner they ever had. We had several lovely cutting boards we were given as wedding gifts and asked her to incorporate them into the display of horderves and they did so, creating a beautiful display. We really have nothing but positive things to say about Linda and her staff, and wouldn’t hesitate to use her company again.

The website looks great,(wonder who did the food on the website) Linda was nice but her catering is a disaster. We asked them to do an upscale outdoor/spring business party. We set the budget at $ 100.00 a person(just for food, the bar was not in this price) for about 70 people and expected great service and exceptional food. We got neither. The setup was pedestrian, uncreative and amateurish, No food was out when our first guests arrived. The shrimp bowl was never filled and remained ¼ full through the party yet after the party there were several pounds of shrimp leftover in the fridge. The food we chose was high quality, lobster tail, rib eye steak, but poorly prepared and tasteless. Literally the braised meatballs hot hors d’oeuvres should have looked like glistening roasted meatballs with dipping sauces. literally they looked like a southern sawmill gravy… not cohesive and dissolved in a gloppy tasteless cream sauce. We hired the caterer so we could focus on our business guests. this is an annual event and our major networking event for our company so we didn’t/couldn’t micromanage during the party. But my wife had 4 pages of notes written just after the party. Linda made no effort to respond to or address the 4 pages of detailed problems we documented. Summation… stay away from this one.
