This market is right next to my building, so I am in there fairly often for little things. They have a good selection of beer and wine considering how tiny it is, and the owners are really nice. You can also buy things like garlic, ginger, injera and Ethiopian spices here. That’s not why I’m writing, however. I recently discovered that the market does Ethiopian takeout and catering. I ordered it today for the first time, and was very impressed. I got the kitfo and the veggie combo, and it was all much more flavorful than I have ever had at restaurants in DC and elsewhere – and very reasonably priced. I’m very, very happy that this is so close to my place – I think I’m going to be ordering from here a lot!
